~Loud Siren Noise~
The moon hung high on the horizon, casting a bright light over the scene as the police officers methodically walked in front of the PSH, their eyes scanning the area for any weapons connected to the recent incident. The atmosphere was thick with tension; whispers filled the air as the weight of the situation settled over everyone. The arrest of Karthicka struck a heavy blow to the entire PSH community. Janeshwa, along with a few others, sat in a tight huddle, their hearts heavy with disbelief and sorrow. The realization that their friend, Karthicka, was now being labelled a killer was almost unbearable. She had remained eerily silent during her arrest, her expression unreadable, which only intensified the sense of mystery surrounding the events that had unfolded.
Edwin, a member of the Mystery Shadow Group, peered intently at a tall building situated just a short distance from the PSH. The group huddled closer, sharing hushed conversations filled with concern and speculation.
"Hey, Ed, this is getting serious," Amy murmured, her brow furrowed. "I have a feeling Viola is somewhere nearby. These Portsmouth cops might not even know that she's involved."
Rahul chimed in, his voice steady but tinged with urgency. "Amy has a point. Since Viola is from Eleanor, revealing that the killer is a serial killer from there would only fan the flames of animosity between the two cities. We don't want to stir up that kind of trouble."
Edwin nodded, his gaze fixed on the building. "Alright, first things first. The initial piece of evidence we have points to that building. We need to investigate further. Let's get a closer look."
Amy crossed her arms, concern etched on her face. "But how can we be sure it's evidence? We don't even know if the shot came from there."
"Trust me, have my decisions ever led us astray?" Edwin replied confidently, his tone leaving little room for doubt.
With a shared sense of purpose, the crew made their way towards the house they suspected might hold answers, while nearby, the staff from PSH continued their sombre discussions about the shocking case that had shaken their community.
"Look, Malik, you need to be patient and keep your emotions in check. We're going to uncover the real culprit behind all this," Amy said, trying to calm him down as she placed a reassuring hand on his arm."But please, don't involve the cops in this!" Robin interjected, his voice tense with worry.
"Why not? I have to talk to them! She can't even articulate her thoughts! Why on earth did she choose to remain silent when everything happened?!" Malik exclaimed, his concern escalating into frustration as he ran a hand through his hair, pacing in distress.
"Hey, just hold on a second," Edwin said, stepping in with a firm but calm tone. "If you keep quiet about this for now, it'll give us a chance to locate the actual suspect. We need to be strategic."
"Wait, so you're suggesting that you're going to look into this like it's a secret mission?" Afrah asked, raising an eyebrow as she leaned forward, intrigued by the idea.
"Hmm... perhaps, yes. But this needs to stay within our group," Edwin clarified, his expression serious. "I truly believe that Viola is the one behind this. We can't let anyone else in on this yet. If the word spreads, it could spark a violent conflict throughout the city."
