Chapter 6: Hidden Intentions

As exam season wrapped up, Jungkook found herself spending more time with her friends Jiyeon and Hyejin. Whenever they brought up her interactions with Mr. Taehyung, they never missed a chance to tease her.

One afternoon, they sat together in the schoolyard, enjoying the rare moment of peace. Jiyeon nudged her, grinning. "So, Jungkook," she began, her tone playful, "how's it going with Mr. Kim? He's been paying you quite a lot of attention lately, hasn't he?"

Hyejin smirked. "I bet he'd like to give you more than just chocolate if you know what I mean," she teased, shooting Jungkook a mischievous look.

Jungkook tilted her head, completely missing the undertone in their words. "What do you mean?" she asked, blinking with wide, doe-like eyes. Her soft pink lips formed a tiny pout, her cheeks turning rosy. She looked so puzzled that her friends burst out laughing.

"Nothing, nothing," Jiyeon said with a wave of her hand. "It's just that Mr. Kim seems to really, really like you. Don't you think it's a bit unusual for a teacher?"

Jungkook's blush deepened, though she still didn't quite understand what they were hinting at. She fiddled with her fingers, biting her lip in thought. "Well... I mean, he's just being nice to me, right?" she said softly, looking at them for reassurance.

Her friends exchanged knowing glances, but they only nodded, leaving her in her innocent bubble.

One day after class, Mr. Taehyung approached Jungkook as she was packing up. He stood tall, his dark eyes intense yet calm. "Jungkook," he said, his voice smooth, "would you like to come over to my house this weekend? I thought we could go over some of the exam material if you'd like."

Jungkook blinked in surprise, her lips parting slightly as she looked up at him. The offer felt kind and thoughtful, and she felt honored that he'd make time for her. "R-Really?" she stammered, her cheeks turning a soft pink. "That would be wonderful, sir! Thank you so much!"

Mr. Taehyung's eyes lingered on her for a moment longer, his lips curving into a subtle smile. "Then it's settled," he said, his voice low. "I'll see you then."

The following weekend, Jungkook found herself standing in front of Mr. Taehyung's grand mansion. She stared up at it in awe, feeling as tiny as ever. The towering gates and beautiful exterior made her heart race with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

Mr. Taehyung greeted her at the door, ushering her inside with a polite smile. She stepped in, marveling at the high ceilings and elegant decor. Everything seemed so large and grand; she felt almost like a small doll in an enormous palace.

"Please, make yourself comfortable," he said, leading her to a plush seat. She sat, her feet barely touching the floor, and looked around, her big eyes wide with wonder.

A few minutes later, Mr. Taehyung returned with a drink for her-a large glass filled with a rich, sweet liquid. She held it with both hands, the glass almost too big for her small grip, and took a tentative sip, smiling with delight at the taste.

"Thank you, sir," she said, her rosy cheeks glowing with happiness.

Mr. Taehyung watched her with a glint in his eyes as she sipped eagerly, her small lips leaving faint marks on the rim of the glass. "How's the drink?" he asked, his tone casual yet holding a hidden edge.

"It's delicious!" she replied with a bright smile, unaware of the way his gaze lingered on her as she finished the drink.

A strange warmth soon spread through her, making her head feel light. She blinked, her vision slightly hazy as she looked up at him. "I... I think I feel a little... dizzy..." she murmured, clutching the edge of the chair as her world started to spin.

Before she could make sense of the feeling, her vision faded, and she slipped into unconsciousness, the last thing she saw being Mr. Taehyung's unreadable expression as he reached out to catch her.
