A Walk In The Park. (Chapter 3)

"We should call up Ellie, and Autumn to see if they want to go for a walk in the park?" Marty asked. "Sure but I have a softball game at 2:00 pm. I can't wait! It's gonna be the first time in like 2 weeks playing! I hope i didn't get bad....." I  said excitedly. "You're the best player on the team! One mess up won't cause you anything! I'll call Ellie brb." She said and left the room.

----------------1 hour later-----------------

Ellie, and Autumn  finally arrived and we decided to go to the park finally. My stuff was already at the field so I didn't have to worry and I could change there. Time went by fast next thing I knew it was 1:30 pm. "Girls I gotta go! I'm gonna be late! I'll see you later!" I started running and I bumped into a blonde hair hottie and we both fell. "I'm so sorry!!! It was accident!" I said and helped him up. "It's okay I was too. Why are you in such a hurry?" Should I tell him? I mean it's softball. It's my life. Why not! It can't hurt! "I'm off to a softball game. And I'm running late. Oh well it won't hurt considering I'm there every game and on time so what about you?" I asked. "I'm off to hang out with some friends." He replied "oh okay well I gotta go. Nice to meet you!" I turned to start running but he grabbed my arm. I turned around "Can I have your number?" I smiled like an idiot. Oh well I AM an idiot. "Sure." He handed me his phone and I handed mine to him, "Oh by the way! I'm Niall." "Hi Niall, I'm Breiana. You can call me Bre!" , and with that we said our goodbye's and left.

----------At The Softball Field-----------

I finally arrive and I was exhausted from running. I smiled cause I made it on time! I quickly got changed and headed back to the field. I grabbed my mitt and started to play catch. After a while we started to hit. This is when they had to go behind the fence to shag for me. I found it funny. After awhile the game started. I was so happy to be back. I took one last look at the crowd and I saw..... Niall? In the crowd? And some other guys I didn't know. I looked at him and he looked at me with a confused look. I mouthed to him 'this is the softball I had to get to.' He just mouthed 'oh' back to me. I was third on deck to hit. When it was my turn my coach told me to hit away. I did as told and hit a home run first time! Niall's jaw dropped. He didn't expect that did he? His friends were just talking not paying attention but Niall's face itself was hilarious. My teammates were chanting my name for an unknown reason so I started to laugh. Niall came over to congratulate me on my hit. "It wasn't as good as it was before, but thanks anyways! I really appreciate your support!" I gave him a big smile. "I'd like to get to know you sonetime... Maybe we could hang out tomorrow afternoon?" He asked shyly and before I could say anything my coached pointed to me and said "Bre center field I nodded and quickly said "sure I'd love to!" To Niall. His face turned into a big smile. I ran out to the field to play my position. Next thing I knew there was a pot fly coming at me. I yelled "MINE MINE MINE!!!!!" Jumped up and grabbed it. I threw it in to our pitcher and at the end of the game we won. Cause we got 10 points before they could score one...... I met up with Niall and he was amazed at how good my team was. Next thing I saw was Stella. The other teams pitcher walking up to us. I walked up to her and put my hand out and said "good game!" She slapped me and and said "That wasn't a game! You cheated!" She sneered at me. "How could I cheat?" I asked "I don't know how, but  I know you did!" With that she walked away.
