A New Study Awaits (Chapter 10)

They arrived at The Great Flower, Flynasalx is nearly the same height as them. Magus, Rover and Max land on the balcony, Magus turns to Flynasalx and prepares his Merger. But not before thanking each other for stopping the threat.

Flynasalx (Synapse): "It's been a pleasure, assisting you all. I think I need a bandage for my wrists."

Prince Max: "I'm surprised some of you took the risk of a fight to save not only The Flowered City but Planet Krud."

Flynasalx (Alex): "Imagine if we'd never come together, literally and who knows what mayhem Drumsturdy would cause."

Flynasalx (Synapse): "But I am going to miss being a fusion. It was another weird experience for me but it wasn't so bad when I got used to it. You could have seen me as Magnapse."

Magus: "Sharing a body wasn't the only interesting thing but he got access to my magic skills. Just like how Drumsturdy accesses to the Orb's powers."

Flynasalx (Alex): "Like when me and Synapse were turned into Sylex, our IQ doubled."

Flynasalx (Flynn): "And when me and Wasabi were still Flysabi, our strength increased."

Magus: "Exactly the point! My second try with Project: Fuse, gave me a chance to study more of these. The effects, the minds, the skills. How they cooperate with their fusion form, good or bad. Even after cleaning up the incident, There are still more things I want to get through with following this project. It's a new thing I want to focus on."

Even though the troubles are over, Magus still wants to study more about fusions.

Flynasalx (Synapse): "So you want us back here in future for some experiments."

Magus: "Entirely your choice, Synapse. I won't force you to. I don't think Draffsack will."

Flynasalx (Synapse): "I understand, I'll be happy to take part in your fusion studies. If I'm available that is. Don't go too focused on it."

Magus: "Okay. Now, is everyone ready before I fix everything?"

Flynasalx acknowledges Magus and they are now ready to unfuse back into Flynn, Alex, Synapse and Wasabi. Magus charges up his Merger but.

Prince Max: "Wait!"

Prince Max points out that he still has the Orb in his arm. He runs to grab it, carefully.

Prince Max: "I'll take this to safety."

Magus: "Thanks, Max."

The Prince heads inside the Great Flower to find a container to stop The Orb from escaping.

Flynasalx (Flynn): "We don't want the mistake to repeat itself, Father."

Flynasalx (Wasabi): "If this happens again! We'll stop it! I mean...never mind."

Magus: "We don't. The Orb has part of my essence and I believe it could be the source of its fusion powers. It could come to good use if ever wants to fuse something to one and another."

Flynasalx (Flynn): "Guess so. Now, let's get this started."

Magus charges The Merger and aims at Flynasalx. The beam blasts out and hits them, they are slowly engulfed by the blue aura, and they close their eyes and smile. The giant morphs and splits into four, an ant, a butterfly, a lice weevil and stag beetle. The aura vanishes and Flynn, Alex, Synapse and Wasabi are back, now separated from Flynasalx.

Because Synapse and Wasabi don't fly, they nearly plummet but are quickly grabbed by the two Verigreens. They were taken safely to the balcony.

Alex: "It's great to be me again."
