I wish that this had become canon. In my mind, the last few episodes of Shippuden and Boruto don't exist.
When Sasuke left, Naruto was the only one who didn't give up on him. Even Sakura (Sasuke's supposed love interest) gave up on finding Sasuke.
The ship would have been the best one, knowing that Sasuke and Naruto were best friends and rivals who thought of each other all the freaking time.
Plus the canon kisses are just so funny and adorable.
Kakashi totally ships it.
