third person's pov

It has been a couple days since the whole Constance Welch hunt. Whitney has been quiet as a fly ever since. She hasn't really talked and or eaten, which is never like her, as she is like Dean, always hungry. The three of them are in the impala as today they didn't have a hunt mainly because they didn't want to go on one. Whitney wasn't complaining. She didn't want to leave.

They have been driving for God knows how long as Whitney wasn't keeping track. Sam looked behind him and saw Whitney who had a look that resembled someone when they are trying not to cry. He was confused and worried as just a couple hours ago, she was bouncing off the walls singing Eye of the Tiger without a care in the world.

He turned around as his brows furrowed just slightly. Dean came to a stop at a stop light, and he just so happened to turn his head in Sam's directions and saw his brother's thinking face on. "What's with the face?" Dean asked as Whitney's head shot up as she thought that her dad was talking to her.

When she saw that he wasn't talking to her but her Uncle Sam. She turned her head to look out the window that was covered in a drizzle of rain. It was oddly calming through the music that was blasting. Dean turned down the music a little, as when it was clear he continued to drive.

Sam looked back at Whitney who was now looking out the window of the impala, as when Whitney took a deep breath which got Dean's attention as the song was fading out in the first place. That is why he heard it. When he saw where it was coming, he slowed down a little in the impala. He took his right hand off the steering wheel and reached back for Whitney's leg.

When he touched his daughter's leg, she jumped so high that she could have touched the roof of the car. She panicked, so much that the car slightly shook. He watched her take a deep breath to calm herself down. Dean pulled into the motel where the three of them stayed at for the time being.

Sam immediately knew what to do. Get out and don't question it.

Sam got out of the car when it came to a stop, he went to the back seat which had their bags, and he grabbed Whitney's also. Before he ventured into the motel.

Dean put the impala in gear as Whitney was staring at her uncle leaving and to make sure that Whitney didn't try to make a break for it, he locked the doors. Whitney sighed knowing that she wasn't going to get out. She brought her knees to her chest as she didn't look up at her dad.

"That's a first. I thought you were going to get up her as soon as Sam got out." Dean says as he chuckled to himself as Whitney's lips attempted to smile but it looked painful. When he didn't hear Whitney laughing and or giggling, he slowly stopped thinking that she wasn't in a joking mood. Which he understood as sometimes he isn't either. He looked up at his daughter through the mirror and saw her glum look. He knew that something was bothering her.
