After that night,
You drove me back home,
But the cameras were watching,
Like silent eyes, never alone. We stood there for a moment,
Wondering what to do,
And you smiled,
A plan forming between us two.We snuck around the side,
To find the window ajar,
Like a secret passageway,
Where everything felt bizarre. You stayed for a while,
The silence thick with unspoken things,
And when it was time to leave,
I felt my heart pull at invisible strings. There was a tension in the air,
Something heavy, something sweet,
I wanted to kiss you then,
But I couldn't move my feet.I stood there,
Fighting the urge,
Afraid to cross that line,
But in my chest, a quiet surge,
Wishing you could read my mind. And as you walked away,
I stayed frozen in place,
Wondering if next time,
I'd be brave enough to chase.
