Chapter Five
Elijah Dawson

I heard the door open and saw Ella running and locking the windows and doors.
I looked confused at what was happening.
She was starting to cry; I could hear it from her voice cracking.
"Hey," I said calmly.

She looked at me with her glossy, watery eyes, and I wiped her tears away.
"Do you know who did it?" I asked.
She nodded.

"It wasn't a ghost, and it wasn't an accident. He killed you. He used his car remote to make it look like a demon did it. I didn't know. I'm sorry," she said, crying.
I hugged her and kissed her head.
Then, there was a bang on the door. "Open up!" yelled Josh.

"My task is done. My only task is to find who killed me. That was my wish. I can't get another one. I'm going to cross the bridge," he whispered.
She sobbed. "I will never see you again, will I?" she whispered.

"You will. I'll be in heaven or hell; it doesn't matter to me, as long as we are on the same team."
I smiled and kissed her. The door opened, and every hunter was there, but I was already gone.

"Congratulations, you passed the border," said Scott.
"But do you really want to go in and save your girl?" asked Dylan.
"What are you two asking me?" I asked.
"Your heart wants to go back," said Scott.

"Plus, your girl is in trouble," said Dylan.
"No!" I yelled.
I ran towards a mirror and asked it to show me Ella.
She was fighting with one weapon, a knife.

"You're picking the wrong side; he's going to kill every innocent soul," she said.
"Shut up, no one cares," said Hunter number one. One of the hunters slammed her head to the wooden floor; she was unconscious.

I gasped while breathing heavily.
"You have to bring me back, please!" I yelled.
My voice echoed in the room.
"Your last wish," they said, and I disappeared back to my house.

I vanished and found Elle. Beating up, her nose was bloody, her mouth had a cut, and her eye was bruised.

She turned and saw me; she was worried.
"No," she whispered.
I looked around, and nobody was here. I kissed her.
Her tears fell.

"What are you doing here? You can't be here; you just can't. They are going to kill you again," she sobbed.
"Hey, you saved my life, you helped complete one of my tasks, and this is my other task for you. I want to take you to heaven with me," I said.

She nodded yes. I kissed her again.
I found something sharp. I picked up the knife and cut it. She put her hand around my neck, and she kissed me.

"Come on," I said.
We were surrounded by hunters. I turned.
"The gate!" I yelled.
I grabbed her hand, and she tripped on the sidewalk crack. "My ankle," she said.

I lifted her up and ran towards the light. We were almost there when Jack saw me.
"No!" yelled Ella.
She pushed me out of the way into the light.

"No!" I yelled.
"She's dead. She won't be with me. I want her. I need her."
Please, I need to kill him so he won't hurt anyone else. Please, I beg you," I yelled.
Scott appeared, "You want to kill Josh?" he asked.
I replied, "Yes."

"I'm not supposed to do this, but I'll give you one more wish. Or would you like me to bring your girlfriend back?" asked Scott.
"She's not my girlfriend yet. We haven't talked about the girlfriend-boyfriend relationship," I laughed shyly.
"You love her. I'll bring her back," said Scott.
He used his hand, and Ella reappeared here in heaven with me.

"Ella!" I ran towards her, and she kissed me. We both kissed each other.
"Ella, please come inside the heaven gate. Elijah is going to kill Jack," said Scott.
She nodded but turned to look at me.
"Be careful," she said.
I nodded back and went back to Earth.
I used a special weapon for our soul spirit. We are stronger together to defeat him. I called all the soul spirits. I yelled!

Every incontinent soul came and fought with me. I used my strength to push my limits to kill Josh.
He was in the car, but the car was going out of control. It wasn't him; it was his friend Maggie Winchester. She was crying, and you knew something was up.

"You! Bitch!" yelled Josh.
"No, you are. You killed my best friend, and now it's my turn to kill you!"

I heard his scream. He is dead.
"Thank you," I said.
"I want to see her, please," she said.
I nodded, and Ella came out.

"Oh! Ella," Maggie hugged her tight.
Ella hugged her back and sobbed.
"I knew something was wrong. I tried calling you, I tried texting you multiple times."
"Don't scare me like that again," she said.

"We have to go," I said.
"I'm sorry, I left my phone at his house. Oh, and hey, you can keep my fortune money," she said.

"Why? What if you need them when you come back to earth?" she asked.
"I promise you, I don't think I need them anymore. I'll be watching you and your kid," she smiled, as if she knew that Maggie was pregnant with Liam.

"See you," she said.
"Back at you," said Maggie.
We walked towards the gate and saw Josh.
"I'll kill you, Elijah!" yelled Josh.

"He won't be able to lay a hand on me because he will be going to hell." I kissed Ella, and then I bent down.
"I want us to live together. I want us to be boyfriends and girlfriends." "Will you be my-" She interrupted me with her squeal. "Yes, I'll be your girlfriend," she said. "This is our promise ring, and one day. I'll give her a wedding ring.
