The room was bathed in a muted glow from the many screens that lined the walls, their faint light flickering in the otherwise darkened space. The air felt thick, the silence almost oppressive, broken only by the low hum of machines and the occasional click of keys.
A single figure sat in front of a large desk, its surface cluttered with various control panels and half-lit screens. His hands hovered over a console, occasionally tapping a key or shifting a dial. The soft glow of the monitors reflected off his face, casting shadows that made his expression unreadable.
Dozens of screens blinked with data, some showing static images, others scrolling text, but his focus remained on one particular monitor.
The report had arrived.
The monitor showed detailing the progress of a certain operation. His eyes scanned the report, his posture relaxed, yet his gaze sharp as he absorbed every detail.
A sigh of relief escaped him as he leaned back in his chair, glancing at the other screens—monitors filled with surveillance footage, communication logs, and analysis data. He smirked, everything is in order. For now, the mission was on track. There was no need for drastic changes, no immediate threats to adjust the course.
He exhaled slowly, fingers tapping rhythmically on the desk. "So far so good," He muttered, his voice a low murmur that seemed to fade into the hum of the machinery around him. "No need to change anything yet."
The figure leaned back, satisfied. The mission was unfolding as expected, with no surprises or disruptions on the horizon. For now, there was nothing to worry about, and nothing needed to change.

Meanwhile in Rintis Island Academy, the cafeteria buzzed with the familiar lunchtime energy. The chatter of students, the clinking of utensils, and the inviting aroma of freshly cooked dishes filling the air. A wide spread of Malaysian delights was on display—nasi lemak wrapped in banana leaves, steaming bowls of laksa, crispy roti canai, and cooling drinks like teh tarik. Boboiboy and his friends occupied a round table at the centre of the room, each having their own meals.
"Pass me the sambal!" Gopal called out, reaching across the table for the spicy condiment.
"Aish, Gopal, careful! You're going to knock over my drink!" Ying warned, pulling her iced Milo closer as she shot him a mock glare.
Gopal grinned sheepishly, spooning an excessive amount of sambal onto his nasi lemak. "Dey, you know I can handle the heat."
Lia rolled her eyes, already mid-bite of her char kuey teow. "Yeah, until you start crying and begging for water."
"Aish, Lia!" Gopal objected, a hint of pink creeping up his ears. "That happened one time!"
The table erupted in laughter, even Fang allowing himself a small smile as he poked at his curry puff. "One time too many." He muttered, earning another round of laughter.
The laughter slowly subsided, settling into a warm hum of conversation. Leizel quietly observed the group, a small smile appearing on her lips as she picked up her spoon. In front of her was a bowl of asam laksa, the rich, tangy broth steaming with a mix of shredded fish, thick noodles, and a garnish of mint leaves and sliced chilies. She took a careful bite, savoring the burst of flavors. It was spicy but satisfying, just the way she likes it.
Across where Leizel was sitting, Fang casually pushed his curry puff aside to reveal a small bag of carrot donuts—his favorite snack. He popped one into his mouth and ate it. He noticed Leizel watching and raised an eyebrow.
