The weeks leading up to Porsche’s departure were a whirlwind of emotions.

He spent most of his time preparing for the move, packing up his art supplies, and saying goodbye to friends and family.

Porchay was the hardest to leave behind. They had always been close, and the thought of being thousands of miles away from his brother made Porsche’s heart ache.

"You’ll visit, right?"

Porchay asked one night as they sat together on Porsche’s bed, surrounded by half-packed suitcases.

"Of course,"

Porsche said, trying to keep his voice light.

"I’ll be back before you know it. And we can video call every day."

Porchay smiled, but there was a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"It won’t be the same without you here."

"I'm going to miss you so much"

Porsche hugged his brother tightly, blinking back tears.

"I know. I’m going to miss you too."

"Hia?"

"Hm?"

Porchay hugged Porsche tightly and started crying.

"I don't want to be away from you."

Now he couldn't stop crying anymore.

"Me neither"

"But without this I can't handle myself any more."

"I'm so mad at Kinn"

"You would go so far because of him."

"Please don't worry, this is my fault. I have gone too far."

"I love you so much hia."

"I love you too my chay"

                    Few days later --

The day of Porche’s flight arrived, and his parents, along with Porchay, drove him to the airport.

As they stood at the gate, Porsche felt a mix of excitement and anxiety swirling in his chest.

He had never been away from home for so long, and the thought of starting a new life in a foreign country was both thrilling and terrifying.

Namphung hugged her son tightly and cried .

"Take care of yourself, sweetheart. And call us as soon as you land."

"I will,"

Porsche promised, his voice thick with emotion.

Pat patted him on the back.

"We’re proud of you, Porsche.
Take care of yourself son"

"Thank you dad. I'm going to miss you."

Finally, it was time to board the plane. Porsche waved goodbye to his family one last time before walking through the gate.

As he took his seat on the plane, a sense of calm washed over him. This was his chance to start over, to find himself in a place where no one knew his story. He glanced out the window as the plane took off, watching Thailand disappear below him.

For the first time in a long time, Porsche felt hopeful.
