"should I feel threatened?"
minho said when he turned around, seeing hyunjin looking at him.

"if you didn't do anything wrong, then you don't have to."
hyunjin said, walking closer to minho.
"jisung is yours."

minho furrowed his brows in confusion.
"what do you mean by that?"

"exactly what I said."
hyunjin said, tilting his head.
"I like jisung. I always did. but if we were meant to be, we would have been by now. I can see he's happy when he's with you, and I can't say that I'm not jealous, but..."
he sighed.
"...this is about jisung's happiness. not mine."

"you know...I don't own jisung. you don't have to just...give up like that."
minho said.

"I know."
hyunjin nodded.
"but there is something that's connecting the two of you. I'm pretty sure you guys see yourselves in the other one. and that's something special."

a silence fell on top of them.

"why so suddenly?"
minho asked.

"I'm not sure myself."
hyunjin said.
"but before you do anything, I need to ask you something."

minho nodded.

"even tho you and jisung have some weird connection, you're both from different worlds. we both know you're gonna eventually go back, and leave this ranch behind. but what's gonna happen to jisung?"
hyunjin said.
"I don't want him to get hurt. if you're just gonna mess around with his heart for fun-"

"I know you're not the biggest fan of me, but I'm not an asshole. and I'm especially not an asshole when it comes to feelings."
minho said.
"I have never...felt what I feel when I'm with jisung. I don't know what my future holds, but I know that jisung will be a part of it. either way. if just as a friend, or something more...you don't meet someone that feels like they are your soulmate just like that."

hyunjin looked down.
"I'm warning you. if you're going to hurt jisung, I'm gonna do whatever it takes to ruin your life."

"I would be ruining my life if I let someone like jisung go."
minho answered.

"good answer."
hyunjin nodded.
"but I'm serious."

"me too. I never said I wasn't."
minho said, before walking past hyunjin, stopping right by his ear.
"you know...when you like someone for a long time, you might get confused yourself. you get blinded, because you get so used to liking that one person that you don't even notice anyone different. maybe...maybe someone is waiting for you to notice them."
he said, before he walked away, leaving hyunjin behind.

minho immediately made his way into the stables.
the talk with hyunjin opened his eyes a little.

in a part, hyunjin was right.
he and jisung were from different worlds.
whatever was between them, was it strong enough?

minho will leave, and he will leave jisung behind.
weather he likes it or not, it's going to happen.
but he would be a fool if he didn't act a little reckless right now.
because right when his eyes set on jisung in the stables, he walked towards him and gently cupped his cheeks.

"minho? what are you-"
jisung was cut off when a familiar lips touched his own.

after a while, minho slowly pulled away, his eyes staring deep into the doe eyes of the beautiful guy in front of him.
"truth be told, I don't know what I'm doing either."
minho admitted.
"I'm just...gosh, I'm crazy. what am I even doing? you're such a wonderful person jisung. I feel like I have known you my entire life. I would be a fool if I let you go. if I let someone else have you."

"minho-"
jisung whispered.

"I...I think I like you jisung. if I wasn't obvious before, then I'm pretty sure I am now-"

"minho-"

"I'm not forcing you into anything, if you don't like me back, that's of course absolutely okay. gosh, but I would hate if things were suddenly awkward between us-"
minho was cut off when jisung pulled him in for another kiss.

"will you finally shut up?"
jisung chuckled.
"I...I like you too, minho."

"are you sure? are you sure you're not just saying it because I said it first?"
minho asked.

jisung rolled his eyes.
"you're unbelievable. I told you many times that I'm always down to earth, and that I'm a very honest person. you also know my history. when it comes to feelings...I never joke about that."

"gosh, you have no idea how much I hope that you're saying the truth, because if you actually don't like me-"

jisung put his hand on Minhos mouth.
"if you won't shut up I might change my mind about all this liking you stuff."

suddenly, Minho bit jisung's hand.

jisung gasped, pulling away.
"what the heck dude? I understand that you like me, but biting people is not nice. weirdo."

"I panicked okay?"
minho said, holding his head.
"you were about to change your mind!"

jisung shook his head.
"you're so unbelievably stupid."
he said, before giving a quick peck on Minhos cheek.
"you're lucky I like dumb guys."

and like that, jisung walked away, leaving minho in the stables, holding his cheek and smiling to himself like the huge idiot he was.
