jai pov:
i was in the bed alone, i got a sharp pain in my ribs shit that hurt,
"baby?" kathryn said looking at me
"yes ma'am" i said grunting
"stay still your ma told me to get her when you wake up" she said walking out
i laid there my mom came back
"lift up your shirt lemme see" she said
Kathryn was staring at my chest
"mm do this hurt" she said
"yes it all hurt, it feel like when jayden say on my chest dukes" i said almost tearing up
"cmon we gotta go to the hospital or E.R" she said
i got up we got in the car
"hey kathryn can you lay her down on your lap please" my ma said to kathryn
"yes ma'am ofc" kathryn said to my ma
"baby lay down" she said softly
"lay straight, like flat" she said looking at me
"yes ma'am" i said
we gotta to the hospital and my ma checked my in and i was laying across kathryn she was rubbing my face, we got called back my chest was bruised but nothing was broken i couldn't go to school for a week, and i was on bed rest for at least 3 days i could only pee and shower, i had to soak in this stuff the doctor gave me, im glad it was the weekend and we had online school monday and Tuesday because of a power line cut off the lights, we got in the car and i pretty much fell asleep, but i could still hear
"kathryn can you make sure jai eats and takes her medicine ima pick up the medicine when i go pick up the twins from there dads house, and make sure she stay in that bed and let me know if she wanna be stubborn, and dont be afraid to call me" she said
"yes ma'am, i make sure she eat anyways" she said laughing
"baby get up" kathryn said rubbing my face
"mm no" i said
"cmon baby" she said helping me out the car
"you gotta go soak" she said running the tub
"can i wear some shorts and my sport bra" i asked
"yes baby cmon, its hot tho be careful" she said
i got in the tub she was rubbing my head, slowly rubbing the water on my chest
"okay baby you can get out its cold now" she said helping me up
"here go a towel baby" she said handing it to me
"pat slowly and soft in your chest" she said
"okay baby" i said drying off
i put on some dry clothes and laid in the bed
"mama" she said
"hm?" i mumbled
"eat this you gotta take your medicine" she said
"okay" i said grabbing the food
"you not gonna be stubborn today?" she asked
"no ma'am" i said eating
she got on the bed and ate with me, i grabbed the  medicine and took it
"you so beautiful baby" she said starring at me
"thank you mama" i asked
i laid on her she rubbed my side i was fell asleep that medicine make me sleep asl
"baby you sleep" she asked
"mmm" i mumbled
"baby get some sleep, i love you, gimme a kiss" she said
"i love you mama" i said kissing her
i laid back down and she rubbed my head and kissed all over my face, i love how gentle she is, i slowly fell asleep, i felt her my face repeatedly
