jai pov:
my parents just got divorced and i chose to live with my mom, she moved to a new city with a new start, it was kinda weird seeing all of this new stuff, i liked my room tho, it was big and nice.
"Jai go outside and make friends this is a new start" my mom said as i laid on the couch
"but what if they dont wanna be my friend ? " i said with a blank expression.
"they will now goo!" my mom said cheering me up.

I went outside and walked around, it got kinda dark so i started walking back to my house, i seen a group of people, they all looked at me, i kept walking i had my airpod's in one of the girls tapped me, i took em out.
"hey you new here?" she said with a stank face
"mhm" i said while walking away
"ooooo attitude" on of the other girls said.
i walked in the house, took a shower, i had called my girlfriend she ian answer so i texted her
"hey mama i just got home, im finna get on the game"
ian get no text back i said she was probably just sleep.
i ended up playing 2k with my friends and talking, my ma came in my room
"jai you going to school tomorrow?" my mom said looking at me
" uhhhh yes" i said smiling
"mmm okay, dont be up to late, goodnight i love you!" she said opening her arms for a hug.
i got up and ran over there and said "i love you dukes"
"tell yo mama i said goodnight" my friends said
"MAMA!" i yelled hoping she wasn't already downstairs
"YES JAI?!?!" she said standing in my door
"jalexis, zariyah, kemiyah said goodnight and dey love youuu!" i said with a smile
" yall going to give me a heart attack, but goodnight babys, i love y'all!" she said walking out.
"im finna hop off im kinda sleepy and Kaliyah not texting me back im lowkey worried." i said kinda sad.
"its okay she probably sleep" jalexis said
"you right ima call her again before i go to sleep." i said trying not to sound upset.
"goodnight i love yall" i said to them knowing they was going to say something weird.
"ugh i love you more daddy" kemiyah said.
"oooo shit i love you more papa" zariyah said
"i love you lots bsfn" jalexis said
"ooo yall ian nothing but gay" i said laughing turning off the game.
before i could turn it off they was blowing kisses and shiit.

I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put on carmax, while throwing my bonnet on. i got in bed and called Kaliyah my girlfriend. she picked up
"hi baby!" i said smiling
"fucking going on" she said with a straight face.
"oh uum okay" i said kinda sad.
"mhm wtv im finna gts jai." she said.
"we ian talked all day but okay." i said
"mmm tuff goodnight bro" she said looking at my crazy.
"bro? mmtch whats the problem, no i love you?"
"oh my fucking god jai, you always gotta problem, im gts, goodnight, ily." she said hurting my feelings.
"okay goodnite kaliyah i love you."
"mhm" she said going on mute.
i went on mute and put her on my ipad, i was honestly overthinking, i had racing thoughts, i ended up putting my beats on and "triggered" by jhene aiko started playing, i ended up crying myself to sleep.
