Chapter #5 (Slow Process)

A month has been passed as you and Naomi are somewhat getting the hang of living together. But still, the awkwardness around the area still lingers. Looks like that won't go away anytime soon.

Y/N: Huh, looks like I need to go grocery shopping again.

Naomi: Can I tag along? You might need some help.

Y/N: Yeah, sure thing.

Naomi: (Smiles) Great! I'll get dress up now!

Naomi jolts into the bedroom to change her clothes. Once inside, she took off her clothes and looks for a new pair. But just then, she glanced at the mirror to herself... and her tattoos...

Her face now full of shame and discomfort as she remembers getting the tattoos for Alex. The black spade, BBC Slut, Snow Bunny and other such. Naomi is literally disgusted to herself. Perhaps she could find a way to remove the tattoos one day. She then quickly wear the new set of clothes as she finally heads out.

Naomi: Well? How do I look?

Y/N: I've seen worse, let's just go.

Naomi: (Pouts) Hey! I don't look that bad!

The both of you then depart to the nearest department store. As you two walk, Naomi noticed a family of three with both parents playing with their daughter. Her heart flutters seeing the heartwarming sight but she also wonders... will that happen to her and you? She quickly shakes her head as she mentally tells herself that it's impossible to have a family with you after what she did. But maybe... just maybe... there's a small chance for it to become a reality... she holds onto that chance like a lifeline.

After a few minutes, the two of you entered the store as you grabbed a shopping cart and start strolling down the aisles while Naomi simply follows your lead.

Naomi: So, what are we going to buy?

Y/N: Just some eggs, vegetables, fruits, meat, yadda yadda yadda. You know the drill.

Naomi: Right.

The two of you head for the meat section.

Naomi: Alright, what kind of meat are we going to buy?

Y/N: Just beef and pork. I've been eating fish and chicken for a week now so I'll have a quick change of pase.

Naomi: Seems reasonable enough.

You grab a chunk of beef and pork meat and handed to the butcher and after some moments later, he gave you your purchase as you put it on the shopping cart. Both of you now headed for the headed to the fruit aisle and immediately, Naomi places down some bananas, apples, peach, and mangoes.

Y/N: (Confused) Uhm... Naomi? I haven't told you yet...

Naomi: Oh please, I know what you'll eventually buy. I knew you too well.

Y/N: Right... let's just go to the vegetables now...

You both then arrived at the vegetable section as you both placed down the needed items.

Naomi: Is that all?

Y/N: Yeah. All we need now is some eggs and some shampoos.
