Chapter #11 (Odd Day)

The morning sun rises as you slowly open your eyes and let out a tired yawn.

Y/N: (Groans) What time is it?

You look at clock to see it 9:30 am.

Y/N: Huh, guess I had a long sleep.

You tried to get up but suddenly felt a sharp pain on the neck.

Y/N: Argh! What the fuck?!

You tried moving your neck around but no matter what you do, it get's painful in every turn.

Y/N: Oh god, I think I've got a stiff neck... guess I'll have to call in a sick leave...

Meanwhile, at the kitchen. Naomi prepares some pancakes and coffees as breakfast for the both of you.

Naomi: (Sighs) It's been so long since I've cooked for the two of us... I hope I haven't lost my touch yet.

As she cooks the meal, she looks at the clock and wonders if you're still asleep or now awake.

Naomi: Hmm... it's already 9:35 am and he hasn't come out yet... maybe he's doing himself again. (Chuckles) Oh well, boys will be boys.

After a few moments, she finally places the pancakes and coffees om the table.

Naomi: Alright! Now that's done, I should check up on him.

She then enters the bedroom to see you awake but still on bed.

Naomi: Hey there, Y/N. Breakfast's ready.

Y/N: Yeah... I hear ya...

Naomi: Hm? You okay? You sound a bit off.

Y/N: Yeah, I'm fine...

Naomi: No you're not. What's the matter?

Y/N: Nothing?

Naomi: Then get up on your feet.

You tried lifting your head but quickly fell down due to the pain.

Y/N: Ugh... I can't...

Naomi: Hey... are you having a stiff neck right now?

Y/N: (Groans) You could say that...

Naomi: Oh you poor thing...

Naomi sits down beside you on bed.

Naomi: Need some help?

Y/N: No, I'm fine....

Naomi: Aww... really?

Y/N: Yes, I'm fine.

Naomi just looks at you with a sly smirk on her face, knowing that you do in fact need some help.

Y/N: (Sighs) Fine...

Naomi: (Satisfied) I knew you would need it eventually. Now come on, let's bring you to the table.

Naomi helps you get up as you tried your best to gently move your neck and head to the table. Once settling down, the both of you started eating breakfast.
