Y/N'S POV

I was currently sitting in Ralphs hut, looking around for something I could tie my hair with. I heard the boys laughing and talking outside the hut. 

Apparenlty the fire had burnt down whole tree! 

BOYS!!! Cant do anything without burning stuff, fighting, arguing and ugh!

Finally there was a ribbon or lace connected to Ralphs pouch or wtv it was. I open the puch to pull out the ribbon thing and tiny things fall out. 

Shi-

A locket

Beautiful! The gold had a gorgeous shine to it and it had the letters R + S  and a heart carved on it. Probably his sister or mother.... I open it and see a girl with Ralph but she was kissing his cheek. 

Oh- I put it down and grab the ribbon and walk out. 

Who was she?

I run to my hut, ignoring all the "hi Y/n" and "You ok"s. 

Who was she?

I sit down on my 'bed' and hug my knees to my chest. 

Who was she!!!!!!

I dont know how I felt. My heart felt like it was ripped out and torn into pieces. How could I be so foolish and believe that I Y/N L/N could have a chance with Ralph. I sigh and I lay down, my back facing the opening in the hut. 

"Excuse me Y/-" I hear

"Are you ok?" I look up and see...

Jack

"Im ok just meh" I say with a slight smile. A cold gush of wind blew right at me. I shiver. 

"Oh, um you seem cold" Jack laughs

REALLY! Actually Im so ho-

I then see Jack take off his jacket and he puts it on me. I smile and he says,

"Why not we go to the fire and I have these cool stories I want to share stories to scare the little uns!" 

I laughed as he took my hand. Maybe hes not too bad.

We start walking. 

MEANWHILE WITH RALPH AND ROGER

Ralphs POV

"Yo cheif" I hear. I was walking back down from the mountain hoping to say hi to y/n again. I dont like her, I just really think that shes kind and -

"Hello? Ralph?" Roger again says

"Yes?" I ask annoyed. 

"I was wondering if we could hunt soon?" 

"I already said yes, Roger?........ What are you getting at?" I raise an eyebrow

By now we are almost at 'camp?'

"Jac- I was wondering if we could take the chick?" he says smiriking

"Y/n will not go, but stay here with m- the littleuns!" I say, why does Jack want to take Y/n hunting. 

I walk away and think abt how Yn is the opposite of Jack and she would never fall in love with a mean, cruel, blonde boy. 

Oh.....

I then see her and the mean, cruel boy walking hand in hand. 

I see her with the mean, cruel boys' jacket. 

i see her smiling at the mean cruel boy. 

I sigh. 

This happened before and it has happened again,

  just with 2 differnt girls

  and the same mean, cruel boy...

What does Ralph mean by that?
