At Mr. Karan's House

“So what is it that you wanted to meet me right after the RFP?” Mr. Karan asked the person sitting opposite him. “Asking for a favor,” said the person. “Am I dreaming? Is the fashion king Rishi asking for my help?” teased Mr.Karan. Rishi chuckled. "Yes, I am,” Rishi said. Mr. Karan kept the coffee cup on the table and interlocked his fingers, leaning back comfortably on his armchair. “What is it?” He asked. “I don't know how to explain it to you,” Rishi said, his eyes closed for a brief second. “I'll make it straight. I want you to ask Aarav to meet the psychologist I am  suggesting." Rishi blurred out. Mr.Karans eyebrows creased in confusion. “Why do you want me to do that?” He asked, his voice laced with confusion. “You are the only person in the position to order him,” Rishi said. “Aarav worked for days to get this project, so of course he will accept any conditions you lay. So, I am requesting this,” Rishi explained. Mr. Karan nodded, understanding the reason behind his request. “Okay, I will. After all, The Great Rishi is asking, How can I deny it?” he said with a small chuckle.

Rishi relaxed his shoulders, leaning back on the couch. “Who is the psychologist?" Mr. Karan questioned. “Ms. Aaradhya,” Rishi answered. “Aaradhya?” Mr. Karan asked in surprise. Rishi nodded. “Aari did not say anything to me,” Mr. Karan said. “Aari?” Rishi asked, getting confused. “Aaradhya I call her Aari,” Mr. Karan explained. “You know her?” Rishi asked Mr. Karan in shock. Mr.Karan nodded. “I have known her for a year,” Mr. Karan said. “I went to her therapy seminar session once because of my wifes continues sulking, and I loved it. So, I visited her often. And we became quite close.” He paused. “Poor child went through a lot at a young age," he said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

“You know quite a lot about her,” Rishi stated. He nodded. “Due to me visiting her often, I got to know her quite well,” Mr. Karan said. Rishi nodded. “How well is she in her profession?” Rishi asked. “Very good. She is quite different from others. She can easily understand someone's feelings and the depth of their trauma.” Mr. Karan said. Rishi nodded. “Don't worry; trust her. She'll bring back your Aarav,” Mr. Karan assured him. Rishi's eyes widened in shock.

Mr. Karan smiled at him “So worried about your friend, aren't you?” he asked. Rishi slowly nodded. “But how?” Rishi asked, his voice barely audible. Mr.Karan smiled. “Just guessed it,” he said. Rishi sighed. “I hope everything goes well,” he said. Mr. Karan smiled. “Trust Aari. She will handle it in her own way,” Mr. Karan assured him. Rishi nodded. “If you don't mind staying here for dinner, you can meet Aari,” Mr.Karan suggested. Rishi shook his head “I am honoured that you invited me, but I have promised my wife for dinner,” he said. Mr. Karan chuckled, “Of course wife is important. If not, we have to handle their tantrums,” he said. Rishi chuckled, nodding.
