It was another beautiful day at the Pizzaplex: kids were playing, families were celebrating, and the animatronics were entertaining. The Daycare always had an influx of children, and today was no different. Sun loved taking care of every child there, and he felt like it was his duty to always protect them. However, right now it was his least favorite time of day: late afternoon. This was the time period where parents would pick up their children, and Sun would have to say goodbye. He loved his job, but this was the part of day that made him the most sad. He said his goodbyes to the last parent of the day and marked the child's name off his list.

"See you next time! I hope we get to play again soon!" he said to the child with glee as his parent walked him out of the Daycare doors. As the giant doors closed, Sun stopped waving. He looked down sadly, and if his faceplate allowed him to frown, he would have. He slowly walked back to the floor and started picking up the different toys one by one. He placed them neatly in a pile in a storage container. "Until tomorrow!" he beamed. Next, it was time to clean up the play area. He wouldn't want all the guests to arrive at a dirty daycare tomorrow morning! "So much to do!" he said in excitement. He got the broom and dustpan out from the storage closet and began humming as he swept. As he was nearing the end of his nightly chores, he heard a strange sound, almost like someone was...talking? He finished up and put the items back in the storage closet. Feeling hesitant, he slowly walked over to the giant Daycare doors. The sound of footsteps and talking was getting closer. Could it be...? He stood in front of the doors in excitement. As the door was opening, he began to wave. "New friend, hello!!"

In came a shy girl with an adult. The girl looked down at the floor and a strange shadow smiled back at her.

"Come on, the Sun won't hurt you. Go say hi." a voice boomed, probably her father.

Sun walked over and looked down at her. Even though his expression couldn't change, he tried to smile as wide as he could. The girl looked him in the eyes and suddenly turned around to her father. "I don't want to be here." she said plainly.

"Don't be like that." her father said gravely.

Sun walked slowly over, making sure not to scare her. He felt disappointed, but this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. He thought for a moment and then had an idea. He looked up at the father and asked, "What's her name?"

The father stared at him and then answered, "Her name is Alexandria."

Sun looked back at her. Lowering his voice, he said "Hey, Alexandria, this is my Daycare. It's a fun place for kids to go and we always have such a fun time here! I promise I won't hurt you and you can come play with me whenever you feel comfortable." He walked back to the center of the room, his bells jingling with every step.

"Dad, I really don't want to be here..." Alexandria said.

The father pushed her away and opened the door. "You're staying here until we pick you up again." And with that, he closed the giant doors.

Alexandria quickly walked to the doors and tried to find a way to open them. Unfortunately, it seemed like they were locked from the insid. She turned around and felt a swelling sense of dread in her chest. Goofy music played over the speakers and everything was so shiny. She didn't know where she was, since she had never visited the Pizzaplex before. She sank down and put her knees up to her chest. Everything about this place felt so wrong, and she was so scared. The bright colors seemed to blind her, and she just wanted to go home. She started to breathe heavily as she tried to calm herself down.

'Aww what's wrong? Feeling scared...?'  a voice echoed.

"I'm not in the mood, leave me alone." Alexandria responded with an angry expression.
