"You saw that right?" Monty said and put on his sunglasses. "There's a big crack in em, thanks a lot" he said and looked at Glamrock Bonnie.

"Do you think we should chase after her?" Bonnie asked, ignoring him.

Monty looked at the now open door. "I don't know, I guess? But realistically, what are we supposed to do? Why don't we just leave it to Sun or one of those other 'helper bots.'" He put special emphasis on the last part, like he was making fun of the good robots.

Bonnie looked at him. "Monty, I've noticed something about you."

Monty side-eyed him. "Continue."

Glamrock Bonnie gave him a look of concern. "You've been more aggressive lately. I know Freddy has always been the favorite, but some of the kids who loved you before won't go near you anymore. Do you have any clue as to why?"

Monty looked away from him. "I don't want to talk about it, man."

But Bonnie persisted. "Have you been having...violent attacks outside of closing hours, too?"

Monty started to ball up his fist. "I told you, leave it alone."

Bonnie considered for a moment, and then put his hand on Monty's shoulder. "Look, I just want to help you. You're my best friend, and I just want to understand why you're acting so different."

Monty unballed his fist and looked at him sadly.

Bonnie studied his expression and decided to continue. "You know I've been trying to get you a spot on the band, but Fazcorp insists that there should only be four members. It's how it's always been, and how it always will be. I know you could be a special addition to the cast, but they just won't listen to me anymore." Bonnie looked down. "I've done everything I can, but" he looked back at Monty, "Is that why you're so upset?"

Monty really thought about what Bonnie had said. It was true, they were best friends, and he knew how hard Bonnie was trying to get him on the band. Ever since they had joined the staff for the Pizzaplex, they both had a similar dream to become the bassist for the band. They both auditioned, and although they had similar skill, Bonnie was the one who got the part. Per Bonnie's plea, they gave Monty an exclusive role to work at his own golf course, but it still didn't feel right. He continued to watch as his best friend achieved stardom, and he stayed in the lower rung of the corporate ladder. He never truly felt appreciated, and he didn't think anyone cared about him except for Bonnie.

He opened his mouth to speak, but something came over him. His claws twitched instinctively, and a spark of electricity ran through his entire body.

Bonnie immediately noticed and tried to comfort him. "Hey, I'm sorry. I didn't know it would make you so upset. I should have listened to you when you said you didn't want to talk about it. I'll leave you alone for the rest of the night if you want. And hey, in the morning we can get donuts, just how you like them!" Bonnie smiled and chuckled awkwardly. He knew what was happening; he had seen his friend act like this before. So he also knew what was coming next.

Monty started to breathe heavily, and each breath became more exaggerated. Eventually, he was just growling. His tail swished back and forth menacingly, and he turned to face Bonnie. "Just.....run." he said with an anguished expression and put his hands to his head. He started roaring in pain as he tried to fight for control. His eyes flashed between red and pink, and he prayed that Bonnie heard him clearly.

Instead, Bonnie slowly moved towards him with both hands up. "Hey, it's okay. We'll get through this mess together. I'm not gonna let you deal with this by yourself, Monty." He spoke calmly and carefully, hoping to coax his friend back to his old self. "Listen, let's just calm down and go get some donuts. You always liked them better at night."
