Grace's pov :
That same night I got ready for bed like I always do me and Ivan parted ways I laid in bed watching the clock contemplating what I should do why was I even second guessing this opportunity I had to take it I wanted my life back my freedom back.
as soon as the clock hit eleven I jumped out the window and ran I could feel the adrenaline pumping through me I started running to the back road behind the house there was a single car on the road it was masha as soon as I got in the car she sped off she handed me a envelope of cash a set of keys and two tickets.
one was a plane ticket the other a bus ticket I asked her "what are the keys for" I got you a apartment in Washington the address is written on this napkin memorize it and then rip it up all you have to do is board the plane you are already checked in
We arrived at airport I thanked and hugged masha for saving me before I got out she gave me a mask telling me to keep it on to avoid security cameras I got on the flight sitting down finally feeling safe I knew it was going to be a long few days but I get to be free again

Ivan's pov:
After spending the day with my family I kissed grace goodnight I was proud of how she handled herself today honestly I was kind of happy I was going to be marrying her after saying goodnight I went into my room I was extremely tired from being up all day normally I would stay up late and work but work could wait another day

Ivan pov: The next morning
I woke up early to make sure everything was in order for the wedding today I made a few calls and I went to get grace for breakfast I walked in the room noticing the bed was empty I noticed the window was open I went downstairs to check and asked my mother if she saw her I went outside to look she was gone she fucking ran away on our wedding day.
I stormed back into the house telling the guards to pull up security footage from last night around eleven o'clock we saw grace running through the back yard going out the background we couldn't see any further than that I slammed my hand down on the desk.
" get out there and look for her " I went in the house to grab my keys when my father stopped me "what happened where is the girl" she escaped I snapped i know someone helped her I went out the front door going out to look for her she couldn't of got far she doesn't know anything about the country

Masha pov :
Ever since that day I left Ivan's house I have been putting a plan together for the mystery woman I knew he was going to do this when I first heard he was planning to get married from Sofia three weeks ago.
I knew I had to help her if she was to marry him there would be no hope left Ivan carries alot of influence along with my family half of the police force was in their pocket she wouldn't stand a chance so when he brought grace here I knew she was the girl after breakfast I took her outside to tell her about my plan to help her escape
Eleven o'clock came around I waited to see if she was coming out I saw her running over the hill I started the car as soon as she got in I sped off explaining things to her on the way we got to the airport I gave her a mask to hide her face from security cameras the last thing I gave her was flip phone the phone is only for emergencies and it couldn't be tracked so it was safe.

We have been searching for grace all day I went around town nobody has seen her there is no way she just vanished I was starting to get pissed that she would do this I know somebody helped her I just don't know who I wasn't going to let her run away from me she is mine to own I won't stop looking for her

Grace's pov :
Ten hours later I landed in Idaho I felt so free I felt so close to home but I knew I wouldn't be able to go back home I got in a cab to go to the bus port it was thirty minutes away I couldn't believe I was starting over with just the clothes on my back. After thirty minutes I got to the bus port and checked in with my ticket I got on the bus finding a seat in the back laying my head on the window drifting off to sleep

The next morning:
When I woke up I checked my surroundings to see where I was I checked the screen and it showed we were in Washington I was so excited but this also means I need to start my job hunt so I can stay here I can't live off the money masha gave me forever.
ten minutes later I got dropped off at the bus station I checked a map the walk to the apartment wasn't long only fifteen minutes I arrived at the apartment turning the key in the door the apartment was a one bedroom and one bath which was good when I start paying rent on my own I can afford it.
there were some frozen foods in the freezer already masha was really amazing for doing all this I went into the bedroom and crashed on the bed wondering about my new journey
