Lloyd POV
6:30am
It's Saturday morning and Wu has given us the day off. You know what this means: city time! I really like the city, probably because I don't go there a lot. I decide that I am not going to cover up any of my Oni side, its not like any of the ninja will be there.
So, honouring my decision, I take out my green contacts, revealing my red eyes, don't put the hair dye in my hair (leaving the tips purple), and retracted my horns into small but noticeable points. I throw on a grey hoodie, a black tee, and a pair of ripped jeans. I also take off my binding, figuring that no one will assume I am female, anyway.
Since it was the day off, everyone was asleep. I slip out of the Monastery and hop onto my motorcycle, and ride down the mountain.

Kai POV
2:10pm
I'm at a park in town, just 'cause I wanted to go to the arcade. I mean, who wouldn't? I enter a park after an awesome 3-hour gaming session. I have also bagged a bagel from this shop on the corner of the main street. There was one park bench, but someone was already sitting on it, eating a donut. The looked familiar, somehow. They had red eyes, and blonde hair with purple tips. They also looked like they had horns?...
Oh well. I went to the bench and sat across from them. Strangely, they seemed to tense up.
"Are you okay?" I ask, taking out my bagel.
"You don't recognise me?..." they asked.
"No? Should I?" I take a bite out of my bagel. They seemed to relax.
"Oh, sorry. Just thinking that you were someone else" they said (of course Lloyd was lying, but Kai doesn't know that). We both stayed quiet for some time, eating.
"So... what's your name?" I ask, breaking the silence.
"U-uhmm... Llo..." they mumbled.
"Sorry, I didn't catch that. Coud you repeat?" I ask politely.
"I-It's, um... Llaynie?" they replied. I am not convinced, but I let them keep their name a secret, if they wanted.
"W-what's yours?" they ask.
"Kai!" I reply. They stand up.
"Well, it was nice meeting you, Kai" they said.
"It was nice meeting you too, Llaynie." I reply. They hurried off. What a weird interaction...
