Lloyd POV
I have been training Arin and Sora for a few weeks now, without them noticing that I am part oni. Except for a little run-in where they heard me scream (an oni headache, happens when I supress it too long), but I passed it off as falling over.
I was currently trying to get Sora to use her tech power without Riyu helping her (he stayed with us after we returned him to his mother, and she... helped me defeat Rapton again).
"Sora, close your eyes and look inside yourself. You have the power (A/N start playing I've got the power) inside you. You need to find your inner peace." (Movie reference lol)
"I know Lloyd! I'm trying!" replied Sora, eyes closed in concentration. Suddenly, my ears pick up on something moving this way. Right towards the Monastery.
"GET DOWN!" I shout, toppling over Sora, Arin pressing himself against the ground a few meters away. Suddenly, something hit the side of the Monastery, shaking the walls and causing a few bricks too fall loose, miraculously not hitting any of us. I get up, walking over to the collapsed wall. I let out a strangled gasp, hand over my mouth, finding myself looking at the charred remains of the bounty.
The one Kai left in.
Tears sting my eyes as Sora and Arin walk over. I jump down onto the barely-holding together ship, and Arin and Sora do the same.
"What... happened?" Askes Arin. What do you think happened I lost Kai AGAIN and it's all my fault he was going to map the merged lands-
"He was going to map the Merged Lands!" I exclaim. I hurry over to the navigation system. "Sora, could you fix this?" I ask.
"Sure thing!" she makes her way over to the blank screen, and within a couple minutes, it boots up, showing that he stopped somewhere to the north. Or he died, and there is no hope- SHUT UP!
"Okay, we are going to that spot!" I announce.
"Uh- now?" asks Arin.
"Yeah, this ship is pretty banged up. I don't think it's going anywhere soon." Added Sora. I grin, and say
"Oh don't worry. We won't need it."
5 minutes later, we are up in the air, riding on my elemental dragon.
"W-w-whhyyy d-i-iid you-u neev-ee-rr tel-l uus that y-you coo-uld ride a DD-RAG-ON?" Asked Arin through the turbulence (he was at the back).
"Eh, just never really came up in conversations," I reply.
"Well, at least we'll be there quickly!" Sora said. Yarip! (idk what they sound like) added Riyu, meaning I wish I could fly...
"I know, buddy, you will someday." I say to him.
"What?" Sora yelled over the wind.
"Nothing!" I shouted back. Soon, we arrived in the spot the Bounty was turned back.
To see rock people throwing boulders at dragons.
And we did the obvious thing.
We jumped on the rock peoples heads.
