Kai POV
"LLOYD!" I shout, and dive to catch him. His limp body feels like paper in my arms. I shake him a couple times, and he blinks.
"Lloyd, are you okay!?!" I ask franticly.
"Yeah, fine. Just, um, feeling a little sick" he replies. I sigh.
"Then go to bed, dummy! I'll tell Wu that you aren't feeling well. Come on, I'll carry you to your room" I pick him up bridal style, and lay him on his bed. I flick off the lights, and shut the door. I'm pretty sure he was fine yesterday... I'll check with Zane, he knows more about sickness then I do.

Lloyd POV
I blink awake. What time is it? Where am I? I take in my dimly lit surroundings. Wait. I am in my room... now I remember. Kai carried me here. I bolt up. OH S**T! DID HE SEE THE CUTS? I franticly roll up my sleeves, to see the same bloodied bandages as before. I breathe a sigh of relief. Good. Maybe he thought it was just a cold?
My stomach rumbles, snapping me out of my thoughts. When was the last time I ate? I ponder. ...I think it was maybe in town two days ago? Yeah, that donut, in the park.... the park that Kai didn't recognise me in. Kai, my best friend, my crush, didn't recognize me. Because of my STUPID BODY! I feel a sudden hatred towards myself. Me and my stupid, feminine body, because WHY CAN'T I JUST BE MALE. Me and my STUPID FATHER, making me HALF ONI.
My breathing starts to hitch. The walls close around me. I have to get out. I grab some normal clothes, not bothering with long sleeves. No one will care, anyway. I sneak out the window, and get on my motorcycle. I am surprised to see that it is night, but I'll just eat in town, using my emergency money stash I saved up. I might buy some new bandages, too.
-------Time skip brought to you by Lloyd's insecurities------
"Thank you!" I wave at the shop person, and exit. I just bought a sandwich, a bottle of water, and some bandages from a concerned-looking shops person. I walk into the small park near the edges of the city, which is more secluded than the big one in the centre of town.
I plop down near a bush, because there are no park benches. I unwrap my bandages, observing that damage that I did too my arms properly. Damn. My arms were barely visible from the big gashes up and down them. I pour water on them, and bite my lip as they sting.
I then wrap the new bandages over my arms. I then take a bite of my sandwich.
"AAARGH!" I hear a scream behind me. I whip my head around, to see a young boy, around 8 years of age, with curly black hair. He had fallen through the bush next to me. I stand up.
"Are you alright?" I ask the boy, getting up to help him. Why is he even here?
"Yes, thank you!" he replies, getting up.
"What are you doing out here this late, anyway?" I ask, curious.
"I could ask you the same thing. But, if you must know, I was practicing my ninja moves!" he said, striking a pose.
"Ninja... moves" I ask, trying not to laugh.
"Yeah! I'm going to become a ninja one day, and meet the Green Ninja, Lloyd! He's so cool and even saved me one time!" the boy said excitedly.
"Wow, that's really cool! I know the Green Ninja, he would really like to meet you! But first, what's your name?" I question. He gawked at me.
"YOU KNOW THE GREEN NINJA! My name is Arin by the way, but you can call me... the orange ninja!" Arin replied proudly.
"Okay, Orange Ninja, want me to walk you home?" I say.
"Yeah!" he replies, and takes my hand, and starts to tug me in the direction of a residential street. We eventually make it to a quaint looking house, with two worried-looking people outside of it.
"Arin! Where were you, we looked everywhere!" the woman exclaimed.
"Son, you really need to stop going out so late!" the man turned to me. "Thank you for getting my son home safely. May I ask your name?" he said.
"Me? Oh... I'm nobody." I replied, smiling my broken smile.
"Daddy! Mummy! They know the Green Ninja!" Arin said, jumping into hag his parents.
"Do they now? Well, that's just lovely" his mother turned to me. "Once again, thank you for bringing him home safely. I wouldn't know what to do without him" she said.
"No worries, ma'am. I best be on my way. Good night!" I say.
"Bye bye, Green Ninja's friend!" Arin called as I walked away. I smiled, this time a little less broken than before.
