Let this boy die like a man
Starin' down the bullet
Let me make my final stand

Shot down in a blaze of glory
Take me now but know the truth
I'm going down in a blaze of glory
Lord, I never drew first
But, I drew first blood
I'm no one's son
Call me young gun

I'm the young gun

Blaze Of Glory - Bon Jovi

**POV Ollie**

I had just arrived. I'd always liked Barcelona and knew it well, but I definitely wasn't here for a vacation... Daniel LaRusso had entrusted me with a very important task, and I wanted to make sure I could see it through. Honestly, I was nervous too. This was the first time since becoming a Sensei that someone had asked me for help, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to deliver. The task was difficult, and those kids were at an age where they still trusted adults; I was scared of letting them down.

I called the taxi that would take me to the hotel, gave him the address, and relaxed in the backseat, waiting to arrive. I was really tense, and that quiet moment helped me think and focus. When Daniel called me a few weeks ago, I couldn't believe my ears. Of all people, I would have never imagined Sensei Daniel LaRusso would ask me for help. Me. Olivia Garcia. I was snapped out of my thoughts by the driver informing me we had arrived. I gave him a generous tip, got out, and sighed. I looked up at the beautiful hotel hosting the Miyagi-Do dojo and smiled. The tournament organizers were going all out.

I knocked on the door that the receptionist had directed me to, hearing a lot of voices coming from inside. They opened the door while my hand was still in midair, and when I saw the face before me, I was stunned. I had never seen anything like it. I had to tilt my head way back just to look at him. And those eyes! Oh God, those eyes! Cobalt blue, absolutely stunning.

— Hi... I'm Olli. Olivia. But everyone calls me Olli. —

— Hi Olli. I'm Eli, but everyone calls me Hawk. — He smiled, mimicking my tone, and I stared at him a bit too long. His cobalt blue eyes darkened for a moment.

— Yeah, I know, the scar's ugly. —

— What scar are you talking abou— — He pointed to it with his finger, making a gesture as if to say he didn't care. I smiled.

—I hadn't even noticed!—

—Sure, I believe you. But seriously, what do you want?—

Just then, a voice I would recognize anywhere called out from inside.

—Ah, I think that's the person I was waiting for...— Danny appeared behind Hawk, trying to peek out from under his arm. He was blocking the entire doorway. —Let her in, Eli, she won't bite... unless I tell her to.—

The giant—well, calling him a giant might be too much, but I was so small that even Daniel seemed like a giant to me—stepped aside to let me in, still eyeing me. I walked straight over to Danny, who hugged me, smiling.

—It's great to see you, Olli!— He turned to the others. —Guys, this is Olivia. She's trained for a long time at the same karate school as Master Miyagi, so I thought she might be able to help us.—

He glanced sideways at me, as if he was afraid of saying something wrong. I smiled. Daniel LaRusso had been the closest thing to a father I'd ever had, despite the distance. I nodded.

—Go ahead, Danny, you might as well tell them. They'll find out sooner or later anyway, and it'll help them understand why you chose me.—

—It's on you, kid.—
