The Party

The night of the party arrived, and the anticipation was palpable. Held at an upscale venue, the event was a celebration of both Jay B and Jinyoung back in civilian life. The place buzzed with energy as third-generation idols, close friends, and industry colleagues mingled, their laughter and chatter filling the elegant hall.

Despite the initial awkwardness of not receiving an invite earlier, Jisoo managed to secure a last-minute invitation from Jayb. She arrived with her fellow Blackpink members, each stepping into the party with a blend of excitement and the desire to keep Jisoo comfortable.

The venue was lively, with music resonating through the space and vibrant lights adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Social media was alight with videos and photos, capturing the glamorous gathering. Fans eagerly shared glimpses of their favorite idols enjoying the night, often speculating and hoping for interactions between various idols.

Jisoo, though a bit anxious at first, found solace in the presence of her friends. Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa were well aware of the situation and were determined to make the evening pleasant for her. They navigated through the crowd, making sure Jisoo relaxed and enjoyed herself while helping her avoid crossing paths with Jinyoung.

The night wore on with toasts, performances, and the inevitable nostalgia of past times shared among peers in the industry. Jisoo managed to find moments of joy, reconnecting with other friends and acquaintances. Her laughter, genuine and warm, blended with the melody of the evening.

Meanwhile, Jinyoung was occupied with his own circle of friends and fellow GOT7 members, hardly noticing the undercurrents swirling around him. The Blackpink members skillfully maneuvered through the groups, ensuring Jisoo's comfort remained intact.

Despite the whispers and posts circulating online, Jisoo and Jinyoung successfully avoided any direct interaction, thanks to the efforts of her friends. As the party began to dwindle and attendees started to leave, Jisoo felt a sense of relief.

As they stepped out into the cool night air, Jennie slipped her arm around Jisoo's shoulders. "See? We made it through, and you handled everything like a pro," she smiled.

Rosé chimed in, "And who knows? Maybe Jinyoung was too busy getting caught up with everyone else to even have a chance to talk. It wasn't personal."

Jisoo nodded, appreciating their support more than words could express. "Yeah, I think so too. Thanks for having my back, guys."

Lisa winked, "That's what we're here for. Now, let's grab some late-night snacks and call it a night!"

Laughing and relieved, the three friends headed off together, while Jennie decided to stay and leave with Jayb.

So guys, since Jennie and V broke up. I thought I would make Jayb and Jennie date in the story given her liking his fancam in the past. I will not dwell deep on their dynamic though as this story is about Jinji. So don't be shocked if I don't give any moments from the ship in the next part😌
