It hit me like a potato from outter space. My bestfriend. In love with me? Hahaahahaaa , Joke . This didn't just happen . I mean we're only 12 . Right ? He's just kidding . I don't know if he's kidding or not . So I just stare at him . He clears his wind pipe. I jump . Still not knowing what to say I somehow manage to get out " Are you kidding ? " I felt horrible as soon as I said something . I feel like the worst bestfriend EVER ! " I didn't mean it to sound like that ! " He just looks away . " Aaron , PLEASE don't think I ment it in a mean way ! " He looks up . And looks me in the eye!
" MaKenzie , I'm not kidding I just had not clue how to say it ! Our friendship is like a movie . I just pray , it ends like one of these sappy love stories ! Even if I have to go through hell throughout the middle of our story ! It's worth it , for YOU . You have always been the one I call when it comes to anything ! You're the one I miss . Out of EVERYTHING that I miss in Florida . You're the one that keeps me up at night ! You're the one that I yern for . You're the reason that I can't wait for ANY break we have ! Winter break , Spring break , Summer ! ANYTHING . "
He takes a breath that he seems to have been holding throughout his rampage . Then , he speaks a gain . and with every word like I'm deaf . Like I don't hear it , then it becomes clear what he has said .
" The reason I broke up with her , is because she is NOTHING like you . She noticed that me and you are closer than her and I !
" So you're just gonna stare at me and not say anything to me Kenzie ? "
While looking at me with his beautiful eyes I see that he's serious . All jokes aside . No lying . There's not an ' I'm just kidding ' is coming out of his mouth .
"Aaron , What do you want me to say ? We're TWELVE . Not 22 . This isn't a Taylor Swift song . Sometimes I wish I could be. But that's crazy! I just think you're tired from the trip to Florida and back . Maybe you should take a nap ... "
He walks away looking like he just got shot down . Well , in a way he did .
He didn't mean any of it . I mean he can't . He's just not thinking right ! He's tired . That's it , he's tired ! He just needs to rest for a while . I follow him in the house . He sits on the couch and has his head between his hands . It sounds and looks like he's crying ! He can't be crying over something like that . Because he can't be inlove with me , cause we're 12 ! Yep ! And that's that .
Walking over to him after just saying that to him is like the hardest thing EVER ! I'm goin' all Drake here ... NO LIE .
" A - A - Aaron - n ." I managed to say without bursting out in tears too . Don't know why I would do that but , you know girls have WEIRD CRAZY emotions that change every second !
I hear him sniffle and look up at me . As he looks up I wipe his tears .
" Why are you crying ? "
" Its hard to explain . I don't know if I can . Its probably gonna make me cry more. I probably sound like a total WIMP right now . "
" My bestfriend ? He could never be a 'Wimp' Duhhh . Kenzie has to have the BEST . So the best are deff , NOT wimps ! "
" You know , no matter how CRAZY you sound . You always know what to say that will make me feel better . "
" *Cough *cough . Its cause ... I'm AMAZING ! Duh ! Aaron , you need to get these things down . I'm gonna like test you on them one day ! "
We laugh together . Its like nothing happened 2 minutes ago . I still don't understand what happened earlier ! I truly don't . It makes me wonder . But I wonder about like Everything . So there's nothing new .
So , Aaron's birthday is coming up and I know what I wanna get him . That's weird to say cause it's usually 'I DON'T know what to get them . ' I know , because I know my bestfriend better than anyone !
This is how our day is going to go . So we are going to Orlando cause It's summer and his parents want to take us to Universal Studios . Ahhhhhh ! I love Universal . My parents don't like Universal , they like Disney . Don't get me wrong , I love Disney World , but its only fun for so long . I'm 12 , not 7 . I loved Disney when I was little , and I still do . I just think that I like Universal better !
Anyways , when we get there of course first we are going to the hotel and drop our stuff off . Then , just me and Aaron are going to Brunch . With his cousin that's in the Navy . He's been gone for 8 months , and Aaron misses him . He thinks he comes back at the end of the summer . So , its gonna be a good surprise . Well , after that we are going to this never ending carnival thing ! I'm gonna make him get on the ball shooting thing . He has always said he wants to go on ! Then we are gonna do whatever he wants . Next , we are going to go get his parents and go to dinner . After dinner we shall go to the pool at the hotel . It has a water slide , a lazy river , hot tubs , and the pool is heated to ! Even though its Florida and its summer so we don't need that now , but its still cool that our hotel even has a heated pool ! There's like 3 pools , 6 hot tubs , and the water slide . On top of that , one of the three pools , is an indoor pool !
Hopefully all goes well at Aaron's birthday weekend ! Three days to wait !
