Chapter 77 - Decisions

Gracie

"Mum! Jacob!" I yell, happy tears spilling from my eyes."I can't believe your here!"

"Well, we are! And it's so good too see you" Mum gives me a tight hug and we pull apart.

"You've grown so much!" I say to Jacob, and he just pulls me into a hug.

Harry comes up behind me, along with Mel.

"So, what do you think" Harry gestures to our surroundings,

"It looks awesome, thank you so much." I peck him on the lips, "Did you do this all by yourself?" I ask him

"Yep" He says proudly, Mel lets out a fake cough. "Fine. Mel decorated it, but WE did organise it together" Harry says and I laugh

"Well thank you, both. Mel, I'm so happy right now it's unexplainable" I give Mel a massive hug,

"I'm... dying... here" Mel says and I quickly let go of her, I apologise and we laugh.

"So Harry, how did you get her to see the dress?" Mel asks Harry,

"I have my ways" He cockily answers and I laugh.

"Where did you get this dress anyway? It's gorgeous" I ask them both

"Oh it was a gift from Zayn and I" Mel says with a smile

"Really? Aww. It looks so expensive but" I say, "thanks. Where is Zayn anyway?" I ask and Mel looks away. "Mel..."

"Oh um, he's around somewhere" Mel looks around, "there he is" she points to the other side of the room.

I see Zayn sitting on the couch, he looks deep in thought. Ben and Scar are running around near him playing tips.

"I'll be back soon, I'm just gonna go thank Zayn for the dress" I say to Harry and Mel.

I walk over to him and sit down beside him,

"Hey Zayn" I say and he looks up, "Thanks a lot for the dress" I smile and he puts on a clearly fake smile.

"Yeah, it's all good. Happy Birthday, by the way" He says

"Thanks" I say, "what's up with you?"

"Oh nothing" Zayn shakes his head

"I know something up," I say "if everything was alright then you wouldn't look so sad and moody"

"It's just that Mel and I are not exactly good right now." he says, "she's tries to make things right and she wants to discuss the problem but me being my selfish self just ignores her. I hate seeing her so upset." He says and groans, "It's your birthday, I shouldn't be throwing all this on you"

"No no, it's fine. I personally think you should listen to Mel and try and works things out" I say, "anyway, let's forget about this and have fun!" I stand up and grab Zayn's arm and lead him over to Mel and Harry.

Mel

It's been a while since the party started, we all sang Happy Birthday to Gracie and had some cake. I look around and spot Gracie and Harry sitting with Danielle and Jacob.

I spoke with Mum and it was quite shocking when she told me that Richard had just suddenly disappeared, it's so good to see her after so long. Last time we saw her was Christmas last year, Zayn spoke with Mum as well for a while.

After I saw Gracie talking with Zayn, he's been acting more happier and normal. It's good to see a smile on his face again.

"Melanie Back?" I turn around suddenly to be faced with a guy I've never seen before...
