Orion felt his systems boot back up as the feeling of the heavy rocks began to lift. His blue optics squinted, trying to adjust to the sudden light that greeted him, before Elita's face came into view.

Orion coughed, trying to get the dust and debris particles out of his intake, wincing as he sat up. Orion was swift to notice that the place that once stood was no longer, blown to bits and pieces. He felt terrible, like it was somehow his fault for causing this destruction.

"I feel like someone- dropped a cliff on me..." Orion groaned as Elita helped to his feet, to get out of the rest of the debris. Orion slightly pulled away from her, sitting back down somewhere with more stability. Elita sitting on a nearby rock, oddly quiet, "Where are the others...?"

"Sentinel's tropes took as many prisoners they could carry....they got D-16 and Bee." Elita explained in a somber tone.

"Oh no..." Orion huffed, realizing the danger his friends were in now. They could be killed for their acts against Sentinel, or worse...

"And half of those, High Guard nutjobs." Elita added on, watching as the other High Guard members stood from the ruble.

"Our proof...It's gone..." Orion plucked the now broken proof off his wrist, throwing off somewhere in frustration. He held his helm in his servos, feeling hopeless before noticing something, or rather someone wasn't here. Orion scanned admist the entire area, trying to spot anything that resembled Y/n. But he found nothing.

"Where's Y/n?!" Orion shouts in panic, standing up on his pedes to start a search for them when he couldn't see them, but Elita was quick to sit him back down.

"Easy. You need to take as much rest as you can right now." Elita firmly held Orion down.

"Where are they?!" Orion demanded to know, and Elita frowned as she noticed his shaking servos, wild optics from the anxiety racing through his spark. Elita knew that look all too well, she's seen many of the miners break down in terror after a rough mission in the mines...as well as when there was someone lost within the mines.

"I...I don't know...But they're tough. If they're not here then...they must have went after D-16 and Bee...alone...or got captured as well...I don't remember seeing them be taken." Elita informed Orion, to which he calmed down slightly. But his spark was still aching to know if Y/n was actually alive, he needed to know that they were safe.

"You really care for them that much?" Elita asked, yet she already knew the answer to it. She just wanted to what was going through Orion's helm right now, he seemed to be going through a lot of emotions in one sitting.

"With every fiber of my being..." Orion looked dazed as he placed a servo on his chassis, "I'd do anything to make sure Y/n is safe. I'd risk my own spark for them Elita...they...I..."

"You love them." Elita finished for him, looking away , up into the sky above. Orion felt his faceplate grow warm. Love was such a strong word, yet it felt...right? Orion thought it wasn't possible...for him to love Y/n. He thought it was Elita who had his spark but...maybe it was him who though it was impossible that someone like Y/n, could possibly love someone like him...

"I can tell you love them." Elita continued, breaking Orion from his confused thoughts, "Because I have....had someone...I was the same way..." Elita corrected herself, her voice cracking a bit, which was not normal. At least to Orion, he's never seen her...sad before.

"Oh..." Orion gave Elita a sympathetic look, "I'm sorry for your loss Elita..." Orion sincerely apologized, now picking up on why Elita never seemed interested him in the first place. Elita didn't respond to his apology, still refusing to look at Orion's downturn optics.
