— You're wielding a pericular set of abilities that is quite interesting to witness in person, Lost, — Jing Yuan commented, as we walked towards the group we saw in the distance. I could see statue of the previous High Elder of Vidyadhara, with Welt, March and Stelle fighting Antimatter Legion, with Fu Xuan and a group of Cloud Knights helping them. — For a self practicing healer, you sure have something to show for yourself in battle.
— I'm quite honored to hear that, General, — I said with a hum, closing my eyes for a moment to think about it. — Sometimes, a healer must use a gun to protect their patient, and I wouldn't be much of a healer if I couldn't do that. It is one thing to follow the path that others have already paved, it is another thing to follow your own path with the basics you've learned. I may be an amateur, and still have a lot to learn, but I already have something to show for it.
— Let's hope you reach what you sought to achieve. — He nodded at my response, turning to look at Dan Heng, who had been quietly listening to our conversation. — Let us talk of a happier tidings. Your friends are just a short distance ahead, engaged in a fight. — Pointing his chin in the direction where Astral Express Crew was fighting at, Jing Yuan waited Dan Heng's response. — Would you like to help them?
— Naturally, — He answered without hesitation, not even looking at Jing Yuan. His gaze was fixed at the group that was fighting their way through the enemies, and he was shaking to go and help them. — We should hurry.
— That I can agree on, — Jing Yuan hummed, nodding at his confident response. — Go, help your friends.
Without missing a beat, me and Dan Heng rushed forward, eager to help our teammates in battle. Now that I revealed a portion of my ability, I can use it in tandem with my sword. Any battle will be finished way faster with those.
— Stelle, behind you! — March yelled to the Galactic Batter, warning her of a voidranger that got behind her back to try and stab her.
Stelle was stuck in a deadlock, trying to overpower the Trampler, and she was unable to block the incoming attack, bracing for the hit that would definitely hurt...but nothing came.
— To hell with the Antimatter Legion! — A single root that blasted through the ground impaled the voidranger that was going to attack Stelle, lifting it into the air, and then using it's barely functioning body to slam the Trampler, turning them both into particles of light that disappeared immediately. — Stelle, get yourself together, we're here to help you out!
As I landed besides the reckless racoon girl, I held the sword in a tight grip, seeing as Dan Heng landed besides March, protecting her from harm just like I did with Stelle.
— Took you long enough to get there, — Stelle said with a smile, bashing a voidranger in the head, making it kneel from pain, only to be kicked in the head by her boot, which proved to be too lethal. Sometimes, I wonder what would hurt more, her with a bat, or her bare fists? I don't want to find it out the hard way. — I'm glad, though. Thanks.
— You're always welcome. — I replied with a smile, using the hilt of my sword to block a blade of the antimatter legion soldier that tried to get me, and then slashed his head off, turning to face yet another Trampler that aimed it's bow at me. — Eat this! — Slashing at it's bow, preventing it from shooting it's arrow, I grinned in satisfaction, sending several throned roots to entangle the Trampler, tightening the grip until it disappeared in light particles.
— I see you're doing just fine out there, Lost. — Welt commented, turning his head to look at me, creating a miniature black hole for just a second to deal with a small group of enemies that was coming at him. — I take it you did what you wanted?
