Heaven's secret 2 - Through Lucifer's eyes

The beginning of the order

Eragon laughed bitterly.

Eragon: You did all you could to clear the path for the mother of life,and now you say that you want to destroy her?

Exactly!

Malbonte was silent for a moment,then answered.

Malbonte: I was wrong.

Eragon: Wrong? People like you don't make mistakes by chance.

Malbonte: The mother of life cannot be killed but her path can be closed off again.

Eragon: Do you know how to do this?

Malbonte: Not yet.

Eragon turned to guards.

Eragon: Put him in shackles and take him to a cell.

Malbonte didn't resist,he lifted his arms and allowed them to bring him to knees and twist his arms behind his back.

Vicky wanted to be there during interrogation. I had no interest. I knew Eragon would handle it and I wasn't needed there. So I let go of her hand and nodded slightly.

" You know where to find me when you need. " I said .

Vicky: ofcourse. I'll find you soon.

Rebecca took her to the cell. I found my way back to my room. I didn't go their for days then so I decided to pay a visit. I headed towards my room. The door creaked open with a soft creak. I entered. I decided to take a bath while I had time. I needed to be prepared for whatever was about to come. We needed to prove that we deserved to live. And hell... I needed to know what was going on there. Who's ruling after my father and take back what's rightfully mine. Again.

I removed my armour. It ...still had father's blood on it . I didn't want to wash it off. I decided to keep it as it was and wear other uniform.

I went to the bath and slid into the water. I washed off the traces of the fight we had,that we didn't succeed. And the result was,we were given limited time in our own world to prove our own worth?

Ridiculous!

I didn't have bruises that much. My injuries were already healed. I soaked my hair in water then got up from the tub.I wrapped a towel around my waist and went towards the cupboard.I took a different uniform that day and put my armour in the cupboard securely.

I was brushing my hair when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door, Sammy was standing outside.
I raised a brow in questioning glance.

Sammy: Eragon is calling you in the meeting to discuss the plan ahead.

" I will be there . " I said.

Sammy: See you there,then.

I nodded and closed the door. I hurriedly got ready  and moved outside. I slowly creaked open the door of mother's room. She was still asleep peacefully. I went towards Eragon's energy.
Everyone was gathered there. Just a day before,the hall belonged to Plague. Filled with despair and her filthy energy. It looked fine after that. The energies of the people who really belonged to our world. No fear, despair,hunger or hate.
I stood away from people, signalling that I wasn't up for any kind of mission right now.

Rebecca: We've brought you here to discuss our new steps . We don't yet know exactly what the mother of life expects from us. But we need to appear before her in the best possible light .
