Kid,liz,and maka finally arrived at kid's mansion as they entered his mansion kid went berserk to find his living room a mess book's, crayons,and paper on the floor with patty on the floor drawing on paper " patty I thought you were sick! " kid said crossing his arm's " oh i was but i feel much better now " patty said she then looked at maka wondering why she's here " I'll be in my room kid " liz said as she left to her room " patty why did you make a mess here just look at it ! I guess I'll be cleaning up now " kid said as he started to pick up his books " I'm sorry kid i was just bored look what i drew " patty said as she lifted her paper to show kid and maka her drawing of a giraffe maka started to help kid cleaning up " you don't need to help you know " kid said as he started putting away his books on his bookshelves " but i want to help kid you got some interesting books here " maka said picking up a couple of books
The two meisters finally finished cleaning all remained was one book they both bend down to pick up the book both of their hands grabbed the book they both looked at each other " I think i should put this one away kid you done so much already " maka said smiling at kid " yea but you are going through something right now " kid said patty got up and accidentally bumped into kid causing him to fall on top of maka " oops sorry kid i didn't mean-" patty couldn't finish speaking she looked shocked seeing kid on top of maka with his lips on hers " haha I'll leave you love birdies alone " patty said as she skipped to her room laughing kid got off of her turning red " I'm so..sorry maka " kid said lending a hand to pick her up maka grabbed his hand as kid lifted her back up on her feet " it's okay kid...I'm sure you didn't mean to " maka said blushing everything was dead silent for a good moment until maka broke the silence " umm kid can i ask you a question?" Maka said still blushing " sure what's on your mind maka?" Kid said putting away the last book " did you really mean it? Back when soul was going to hit me...you said that you wouldn't let him lay a finger on me " maka said as she looked down at her feet " of course i do maka your my friend i wouldn't let him or anyone harm you.." kid said " even though for some odd reason i wish you were more than my friend " kid though to himself maka looked up at him " thanks kid..that means a lot to me " maka said hugging kid unexpectedly kid was shocked he didn't expect maka to hug him unexpectedly his heart started to beat fast maka started to feel his chest beat on hers this made her heart start to beat as well she hugged him tighter kid wrapped his arm's around maka " soul's very lucky to have maka with him..." kid though to himself
Soon liz came out of her room she saw saw maka and kid hugging it seemed like they weren't aware of her presence " aww they look so adorable i wonder how long it'll be before one of them breaks off " liz thought to herself as she continued to stare at the two to her surprise it seemed like none of them was going to break off from each other they stayed like this for a while until maka finally broke off the hug " so kid is it alright if i sleep on the couch tonight " maka said " well you can sleep in my room I'll sleep in the couch tonight " kid said " are you sure kid? You know you don't need to do this " maka said " of course i do maka your my guest i need you to feel as comfortable as you can get in here " kid said looking into maka's eye's " thanks kid you've done so much for me... your really sweet " maka said as she gave off a light blush kid also gave off a light blush " umm kid why are you still up? Its a bit late you know " Liz said interrupting the two " well i was about to get something from my room so i can sleep on the couch " kid said he then started to walk to his room with maka following him kid opened the door to his room " well you'll be sleeping here tonight maka " kid said entering his room maka went inside and looked amazed looking around in kid's room " wow everything is so symmetrical and nice " maka thought to herself she looked at kid and closed the door behind them kid didn't notice anything he was distract on trying to get a blanket for himself " this is a nice symmetrical room you got here kid " maka said " thank you maka i really hope you like it here " kid said smiling he finally grabbed himself a blanket " well maka do you have any questions? " kid said waiting for maka to answer " well actually I don't think i have a question but thank you again kid your always so kind doing this to me i don't know how to pay you back " maka said as she walked in front of kid standing there looking into his eye's " you don't need to pay me back I'm your friend I'll do anything for you maka if you ever need someth-" kid was cut off all of a sudden maka kissed him on his lips kid grew deep red he was shocked "..ma.k..a.." kid said the only thing that could of exit his mouth " I'm sorry kid...i just don't know what I'm doing...and you've been a real good friend to me and...i just lost myself.." maka said blushing
