श्रीराधायै नमः
Krisha stepped gracefully into a chamber, her delicate footsteps barely disturbing the quiet. Beside her walked a figure whose very presence seemed to weave serenity into the air, like the gentle caress of a cool breeze on a sun-scorched day.
Together they moved toward the balcony, where the horizon waited to embrace them. Their each step an unspoken melody of comfort and grace, his presence feeling like a soothing balm to her soul's deepest wounds and unseen aches.
"Bhratashree, I know this is going to sound a bit absurd, especially since Dushala's wedding is literally tomorrow—but... she's in love with Dhrishtadyumna" she paused and gave a wry smile.
"Oh, now that's something interesting" Krishna said, his eyes lighting up with an amused glint as an excited smile spread across his face "so, what are you all planning to do?"
Krisha shot him a look, her patience clearly wearing thin "are you kidding me? I know you already know everything, so can we skip the part where you act surprised and just tell me what we should do?" she asked, her tone half-frustrated and half-pleading.
"Tell them to elope. Simple" Krishna said, his tone as casual as if he was suggesting a stroll in the garden.
Krisha stepped closer, her expression skeptical as she placed a hand on his forehead as though checking for a fever "Have you been overdosing on makhan?" she asked, her frown deepening.
Krishna laughed, the sound rich and carefree "You’re so cute, my anuja. No wonder they love you" he said with a teasing glint in his eyes and her frown turned into a puzzled scowl "Who, they?" she asked, clearly confused.
Krishna's smile grew wider "Your friends and family, of course" he said in an obvious tone and then, with a mischievous tilt of his head he added "Were you expecting someone else?"
Krisha's eyes widened and she immediately shook her head, her voice quick and flustered "Oh no, no, no! And don't try to change the topic!"
Krishna chuckled, clearly reveling in her flustered state "Alright, alright. But honestly, there's no better option than eloping. And who knows, in the process you might even find something important to cherish from Hastinapur before you leave"
Krisha let out a dramatic huff, being thoroughly fed up with her brother's riddles "Why can't he just talk like a normal human?" she muttered under her breath "क्योंकि हम साधारण मनुष्य नहीं, हम तो जय-जय हैं।" Krishna answered dramatically and she burst out laughing. (Because I'm not a normal human. I'm God)
"And also beleive in your sakha because as they say, dilwale dulhaniya le hi jayenge" Krishna added with a wink and she shook her head being habitual of him using such one liners "I wish" she wondered.
"Tathastu" the dark lord blessed as his sister turned to leave.
With a final glance she stomped off toward Dushala's chamber. This was where everyone was supposed to gather and plan, though at this point she was half-convinced the only plan she needed was how to survive this era of endless chaos "If almighty has suggested ideas like eloping, then they all will probably suggest something outrageous like sneaking Dushala out in a fruit basket" she grumbled, already bracing herself for the madness awaiting her.
As she entered, Krisha was met with a cacophony of voices, everyone talking over each other as if competing to see who could be the loudest "Calm down, everyone" she hissed softly her tone quite but firm, though it was about as effective as trying to stop a storm by waving at it.
