Gregory laid back on the couch in Freddy's green room, absently balancing a pencil on his nose. Of course, he loved hanging out with Freddy, but it was a bit dull sometimes- especially when he'd practically done everything involving Freddy already. Gregory sighed, sitting up on the couch.

"Hey, Freddy?" Gregory looked up, meeting Freddy's eyes. Freddy turned at his midsection, giving a tilt of his head and an interested hum in response. "Can we like.. do something?"

Freddy turned the rest of his body to face Gregory, looking down at the boy. "Something? Like what, Superstar?"

Gregory smiled slightly at the nickname, but didn't comment on it. "I dunno. Maybe.. you could let me look around?" Gregory saw Freddy start to speak, so he quickly added on, "Without all the mother-henning, please?"

Freddy took a moment to reply before eventually sighing. "I suppose so, superstar. But do not go too far, okay?"

Gregory grinned slightly as he wrapped his arms around Freddy's own. He let go before the robot had a chance to return the hug. "Thanks, Freddy!"

Freddy just smiled and gave Gregory a pat on the head as he ran past.

Since the grand-reopening, Gator Golf was just as much of a hit as it had been before.. everything. There was a small roped-off stage, not yet open, where guests could do meet and greets and take photos. Many children ran around, giving shrieks of joy and laughter. Some were golfing, others just taking in the scenery.

Gregory, though, was sitting on a table in the small room behind the stage, his legs winging back and forth casually as he looked over his cards.

The two had decided -more realistically, Gregory forced Monty- to play a game of Uno before Monty had to leave to do anything. Gregory was winning by a wide margin, even though he kept getting distracted and laughing at how small the cards seemed in Monty's hands and the way he was hunched over the table.

"Draw two!" Gregory grinned, dropping a card down in the table.

Monty snorted, but begrudgingly added to his deck. "You sure you ain't cheatin', kid?"

Gregory gave a dramatic gasp as he placed a hand over his chest. "Me? A cheater? I would never!"

Monty was reasonably skeptical. "Yeah?"

"Yeah!" Gregory echoed.

Monty scoffed, sliding his sunglasses back over his eyes. "Really? Then you won't have any problem explaining all the cards you put back in the deck when you thought I wasn't lookin', will ya?"

Gregory froze as he felt his face heat up. How had he even known? He was looking the whole other way! Gregory huffed, his expression souring. "You don't have any proof!"

"I don't gotta prove nothin', squirt. We both know it's true." Monty grinned, dropping his cards on the table.

"..whatever, I still win."

"Sure ya do, whatever you wanna think."

Gregory huffed, "Fine then! Maybe I'll just go somewhere where I'm wanted." He rose his voice on the last part, rolling his eyes with a flourish. He stood and left the room, pointedly ignoring Monty's mutters about dramatic tweens.

Gregory meandered throughout the golf course, not entirely sure where he was going. He jumped backwards to dodge getting smacked in the head by a rogue toddler with a golf club. He sighed, walking a fair distance around the kid to avoid the same thing happening.

Eventually, he made his way to the catwalks. He grinned, leaning over the railing to look down at the scene below him. Monty had come out on the platform, two staff members on either side of him. An announcement played over the speakers, likely something about meet and greets being open. Gregory wasn't sure, as he wasn't too focused on it.

Really, he was more focused on how easy it'd be to jump onto Monty's shoulders.

Truthfully, he knew it was a stupid idea. Balance had never been his forte, let alone all the precision and aim it would've taken to land such a jump. But.. he didn't have anything better to do.

Then again, that suspiciously Freddy-sounding voice in the back of his head told him not to.

..whatever, it'd be fine! Gregory grinned, carefully climbing onto the railing. "Woah!-" Gregory yelped, momentarily loosing his balance. He crouched down in order to grab the railing and steady himself.

"..maybe this isn't a great idea.." Gregory muttered to himself with dismay. He started to step off of the railing, but ended up tripping on his loose shoelace. He gave a cry of surprise as he tipped over the railing, plummeting over the edge of the railing.

Gregory squeaked as his back connected with something firm. He cracked an eye open, flinching as he saw the animatronic gator staring at him. Of course, he was glad to have been caught by Monty, but.. that glare was definitely not worth it.

"..oops?" Gregory answered meekly, giving Monty a sheepish smile.

Monty's only response was a quiet growl and his eyes narrowing in the boy's direction.

Great.

Gregory looked down, his arms crossed as he swung his leg idly. Freddy had taken him from Gator Golf and back to his green room, and now it'd been silent for almost five minutes. Gregory sniffed, finally meeting Freddy's eyes.

"I didn't think that would happen!"

Freddy glared down at Gregory in a way that had him rethinking his choice of a bear for a best friend. "You jumped off of the catwalk and onto Monty and you 'didn't think that would happen'?"

"I don't know.." Gregory mumbled. He crossed his arms tighter, unintentionally digging his fingernails into his forearms in the process. He turned his head away, trying to blink away the tears he felt pricking at his eyes.

Freddy sighed, his harsh demeanor cracking. He crouched down, placing a hand on Gregory's shoulder. He waited until Gregory met his eyes again before he started speak.

"Gregory," He started. "I'm sure you already know what you did was wrong."

Gregory gave a jerky nod. He sniffled, as he drew his knees up to his chest.

"..then it's alright. Please, do not do that again, Superstar. You really did worry me." Freddy smiled gently, patting Gregory's head.

Gregory hiccuped and before Freddy could even check on the boy, he found himself with a lap full of sobbing Gregory. Freddy's ears dropped as he made a sympathetic sound. Mindful of his claws, he grabbed Gregory under his armpits and pulled him closer, rubbing the boys back.

It took a few minutes, but Gregory eventually calmed down. At least enough to give an apology.

"I'm sor-sorry, Freddy.." Gregory muttered, pulling himself closer.

Freddy smiled softly, feeling a soft emotion as he patted Gregory's head. "It's alright, Gregory.. just please, don't scare me like that again."
