[Summary: Freddy is busy with a birthday party, so he has to leave Gregory in the care of Sundrop and Moondrop.
No ships, Sun & Moon are brothers.]

Gregory grimaced, staring up at the daycare attendant's face. Yep, still as creepy as ever. He sighed and turned to Freddy, giving him a flat tone.

"I'm not staying with this thing."

Freddy sighed, or whatever his artificial version of that actually was, and lowered his ears sympathetically. "Gregory, I know that you did not have the best meeting with the daycare attendant last time, but I do not have a choice. I cannot let you accompany me to another birthday party, not after last time.."

Gregory chuckled at that- he had tagged along with Freddy to some birthday party that Freddy had gotten reserved for, and had absolutely ruined the whole thing. He'd managed to set the piñata on fire. ..That was fun.

"Freddy's right," Sun suddenly chimed in. He sounded different now, Gregory noted. Like some sort of cartoon character. "Moon isn't a big old meanie anymore. He's really nice now, promise!" Sun was crouched down, his rays slightly retracted as if in anticipation.

Gregory raised a brow. "He tried to kill me."

"Yes!"

"..what?"

Sun giggled. "He tried. He didn't actually do it though, did he?"

"That's hardly better! That's like getting stuck in a meat grinder but saying it's okay because it's only your arm." Gregory frowned (it was like of a pout, but Gregory'd rather fight DJ before he admitted that). He turned away, ready to hop in the Freddy's chest cavity and leave, but the bear was long gone. "Oh, come on! Traitor!"

Sun did that weird Santa-giggle thing again, and Gregory knew he was stuck. "This will be fun!"

Sun sat cross-legged on the table, animatedly describing his experience at the daycare yesterday. He wasn't entirely sure if Gregory was listening, let alone cared, but Sun didn't mind. He was just trying to keep Gregory entertained, since the boy had refused everything that didn't involve at the three juice boxes as compensation. Speaking of that..

Sun paused in his story, putting his hands on the table in front of him so he could lean forward. "Little star, don't you think you've had enough of those?"

"What, juice boxes? No, I-" Gregory looked up from his 'Animatronics Monthly' magazine, -because of course, that was practically all the daycare stocked- giving Sun a half confused, half annoyed look. "Did you just call me little star?"

"Yes, I call all the children that. Why?" Sun tilted his head, a bit worried. He hoped he hadn't upset Gregory- he'd never hear the end of it from Freddy.

"Don't."

"Oh. ..How about Starlight?"

"No."

"Sunshine?"

"No!"

"Cub?"

Gregory was just going to say 'No' out of habit again, but he actually had to think about that one. "What?"

Sun scooted to the edge of the table, putting his elbows on his legs and resting his head on hands. "Cub! Because you're like Freddy's Cub, aren't you?"

Gregory's face turned a deep shade of pink, and he slammed his hands on the table as he stood. "Wh- I'm- I'm not Freddy's kid! We're..we're acquaintances, okay!?"

"I beg to differ."

"You don't get to beg to do anything, you don't even have eyelids!" Gregory huffed, and Sun just leaned back, spinning his rays side to side slowly.

"..Meanie. Time out!"

"Wait, wha-" Gregory didn't have time to speak before he was lifted from below his armpits, and placed into a fenced-in corner that was labeled 'naughty corner'. "Seriously? I'm twelve! You can't put me in time out!"

"Yes I can! I put Jerry in there last week, and he's sixteen!" Sun sat down right outside of the 'cage', crossing his arms as he stared at Gregory.

Gregory's only response was to blow a raspberry at him, and Sun would've done the exact same if he had a tongue.

"..."

"So, why did a sixteen year old get put in time out?" Gregory asked, eyes down on the magazine. It was actually a bit interesting.

Sun sat up, a little surprised. He hadn't been expecting conversation, so he took a moment to register the question."Oh! Well, It's weird, but!-"

"-And then he tried to bite me! That was funny for about half a second, then it got annoying.. anyways-"

Gregory sighed. Sun's stories could somehow be both under and overwhelming at the same time, yet Sun seemed oblivious to everything when he told them. Gregory had hopped the 'naughty corner's fence fifteen minutes ago, and the attendant didn't even notice. "Yeah, that's nice. I stopped listening about forty minutes ago."

"..oh. My bad, Cub! Moony says my stories are too long sometimes, but I have to make sure you get eeevery detail!" His rays spun as he stressed the word, smiling at Gregory.

"Yeah, sure."  Gregory sat up and stretched. He hadn't realized how tired he'd gotten, but he couldn't even suppress the yawn that came through.

"Oh!" Sun started, retracting his rays apologetically. "You must be tired, aren't you?"

Gregory shrugged."Well, I-"

"No worries! I'll get Moony for you!"

Gregory looked at Sun, shaking his head immediately. Dealing with Sun's horrible stories and childish games were one thing, but he was not going to hang out with that creepy spider thing. Not again. "There's really no need t-"

Sun was, of course, unaware of Gregory's fear. "Too late!"

Sun ran off, presumably to locate said 'creepy spider thing.' Great. Now he has to avoid getting murdered, again.

A/N: Hi!! This will be a 2-shot, the next chapter will be Gregory meeting Moon again. I'll try to get it out sometime this week. This was one of the longest chapter I think, almost 1k words, which is a lot for me since I struggle to make long stories TwT. I had loads of fun with this, since the DCAs are my favorite.

Constructive criticism welcome, thanks for reading!
