David Pinto lived an ordinary life—except when he was watching Happy Endings. There was one character that stood out to him more than anyone else: Dave Rose. His goofy humor, carefree attitude, and constant misadventures made David laugh like no one else on TV.
“I wish I could live in Dave’s world,” David said one evening as he watched yet another episode.
But before he could even finish his sentence, something strange happened. The room shimmered. The next thing David knew, he was standing in Dave Rose’s apartment—surrounded by his friends: Max, Brad, Jane, and Alex.
David looked down at himself in disbelief. He was wearing Dave’s clothes and standing in the middle of the show’s set. “No way... this is real,” he said, his voice full of excitement. “I’m actually Dave Rose!”
