Beginning Ritual

A beginning ritual is the start in a Faerie's life. To start the well known tradition, you must invite as many Fae, Faerie or Fairies as  you know. If you have any friends who, also are interested in the mystical future of Fairies, invite them too, yet, they will not be able participate in some parts of the festivities.

Fairy Ring

First, this can only take part OUTSIDE. The best weather for this is slightly windy, but warm enough. As well as drizzly, or slightly cloudy. Set up a fairy ring, instructions below. The ritual needs to either be done at midnight or dawn.

1. Find some flat, white stones to make a circle

2. Collect rosemary, lavender, rose, daises, forget-me-nots, mint, or thyme, and spread them around the circle.

3.  A blessing needs to be placed in the middle of the circle, something like a charm bracelet, a metal sculpture, or a locket.

Now your circle is done, everyone needs to sit around the circle, about 30 centimetres away from the centre. You must sit in the middle and wear or hold the blessing. Chanting a spell, enlisted below. All sitting around the circle must join hands. Before anyone starts chanting, the host, preferably the oldest shall say:

Host:

Many Friend and Foe shall cross (name)s path in her/his mystical, journey to power. (Name) should take this opportunity to tell us if this is not what they request, so forth, (name) do you wish to become a fairy?

Group

Thy Fae and Faeries, Friend and Foe, Magic at midnight, Death at dawn, flowers bloom, you shall consist, may they all take the wish. Once again

Now the chanting is done, everyone must group into pairs and do the Irish joint dance, before anything else starts. If there is anything particularly human in your life, such as a book about Fae or a unicorn doll, then it must be buried.

Side Effects

After this, it is important to know the side affects. It is extremely important you ignore as much of them as possible or the spell will be broken. Fae, Faeries, and Faries have been at war with men and witches for a long time. Some side affects may be:

Multiple stomach aches

Desperation to grow a herb garden, flower garden, or do a complicated spell.

A few forgotten memories may come back to you, mostly painful, embarrassing, annoying or terrifying.

Urges to join a witcheries class

Projectile vomiting

Urges to dig up the humanoid thing you buried and use it for something.

Do some baking (this one is okay, it will help get rid of the side affects, if you bake the cake on the next page...)

Overall

Good luck on your journey to fairy-hood.
