Yerin was a mess

Yerin was a mess. A huge, unfixable depressed mess and she couldn't do anything about it. These past few weeks felt like shit for her especially ever since that decision she made.

Haechan was like her sun, exactly like how his name was. He always brightened up her mood, always made her feel like her presence was valued.

She actually looked at him as donghyuck, not the Haechan she would see on billboards or on stages, just her Haechan and now he's gone.

Every second he was on her mind and every little cafe interaction they had just weighed on her. Even working here started to feel so depressing and dark without him.

Knowing that he was never going to be back in her life now just worsened her mood. She hoped that one day, when the media isnt too harsh anymore they would reunite.

As she went to get the cleaning tools from the storage room, she twisted the knob to the red door. She was hit with the memory of their first encounter.

When he was looking for a safe space to hide, she gave it to him without knowing that a whole friendship would bloom because of that.

She instantly shut the door behind her, her heart was pounding and her head was going crazy. Everything she did, everywhere she went reminded her of him.

Every time she looked at the door of the cafe, where she was sat facing it, she saw him. Everytime she opened the drawer where the special photocard he gave her lied, reminded her of him. Every single time she made that death wish of a coffee for someone as crazy as him, she thought of him.

He had her going crazy and he was probably moving in with his life, doing his idol stuff without a single thought of her in his mind. She thought it was stupid to become this crazy because of him because he probably didn't even remember a single conversation they had together.

It was the same for Haechan, she had him going crazy with every little thing. He could barely even focus on memorising his lines or doing simple stuff he could do with his eyes closed.

Practice wasn't easy for him either. He was always spacing out thinking if he should text her or respect her decision. Should he visit her cafe or would she turn him down?

He barely even ate as his brain was just full of her. She was that dear to him he was scared of even going up to her, he didn't want to see her so disappointed.

It didn't help that the members kept pitying him as well, they were always asking if he was okay or if he needed a break, which he did but he didn't want to admit.

He was always the happy pill of the group so seeing them become sad because he's sad was even worse. He never liked opening up to his members besides Mark as he they were glued to the hip and because he knows what he's dealing with better.

It felt like he was so intoxicated because of her he couldn't think straight. When his shoulder would hurt, he thought of her. Whenever his members ordered from the cafe she worked at, he thought of her. And every time his members would watch her favourite comfort movie, it just messed him up.

He sat on his bed, he was so quiet that you could hear a drop of water from the faucet. He was too into his thoughts that he didn't notice Mark enter until he felt a soft dip besides him.

"Dude, are you actually okay?" Mark asked, facing the wall he was looking at trying to see why he was staring at it so much.

"Im fine, just thinking about some stuff." He glanced to his side, seeing a serious  Mark facing him.

"You don't look okay hyuck, you keep spacing out, you're forgetting your lines and you became so quiet. And don't act as if I dont know about what happened between you and Yerin, I was the one that went to go talk with her." He crossed his arms, a worried tone lacing his voice.

"Aw is markgeolli worried for me." Haechan joked, a fake smile that he has mastered plastered on his face.

"Listen, I really don't want to push you to open up because I know you and you don't like doing shit like that but please, at least just tell me when you aren't okay, you don't have to speak about what you're dealing with. Haechan I'm so worried for you."

Haechan's featured softened at his words, his heart aching at what he said. He didn't want to burden the members with what he's dealing with but hearing this, he couldn't help it.

"It's just like its so much work and I feel like I'm not capable enough doing all of this and on top of that, I can't even hold a friendship with someone and I probably wont even get to say a word to them because they hate me." He let it all pour out, not thinking about anything just letting the words flow out of him.

"You're more than capable for this hyuck, if you weren't then why are you still here. You being here despite it all is enough to show that you deserve this, hell more than this. And Yerin does not hate you I can guarantee that, you're both just going through something and it just clashed." Mark rubbed Haechan's back, letting his shirt be a tissue for him.

"Thank you Mark." He sniffled, trying not the let the tears fall but it already betrayed him, falling down onto Marks shirt.

"Im here for you." Mark whispered into his ear, stroking his hair as Haechan sobbed onto his shirt, trying to muffle the sound of his cries.
