It has been a few days since the kiss and Yerin was growing worried. She tried to distract herself with something else but she couldn't.
Ever since she kissed him on the cheeks she hasn't heard from him. He was nowhere to be seen, he hasn't come int9 the cafe anymore, nothing.
All she knows is that he's busy with interview and that was it. She was too scared to text the groupchat that had the dreamies in, and she was way too scared to text him.
She felt that it was all her fault this happened and he probably got disgusted with her or thought she was a crazy fan. And to top it all off today he blocked her on instagram, his main, and probably blocked her contact aswell.
All those months spending time with him and actually building a friendship with him was all gone because of one mistake and it just irritated her at how he didn't even try to reason why he left her.
As she tapped her finger on the counter, trying to steer her thoughts away from him she looked up surprised to see Mark Lee and Jeno right in front of her.
She knew they were both too busy from their activities to even visit a cafe so she knew this was important and had something to do with the idol filling up her thoughts.
"Hello, what can I get for you?" She said the same monotone dialogue shes been saying for hours not wanting to interact anymore.
"We don't want to order anything actually, we just want to talk." Mark stated, pulling down his mark to show who he was but she already knew him judging by his presence everywhere on ads.
"I don't want to talk, just order or leave." She really didn't want to talk to anyone especially knowing that it had to do with Haechan as he was very dear to her and he was gone like everyone else.
"Please you really need to hear this."Jeno said, trying to reason with her.
"Do i?" She sarcastically said, slightly wincing at how harsh she sounded.
"Yeah."
"Alright." She quickly went to the front of the cafe and close the blinds and the door, not wanting anyone to interrupt the conversation.
"Talk."
"So, you know how Haechan has been ignoring you?"
"Yes, I know exactly how he's been ignoring me." She leaned back and crossed her arms trying to ready herself with what mark was going to tell her.
"So basically, A sasaeng caught you guys outside one time infront of your house and then they blackmailed SM saying that they'd leak the pics if they dont get anything in return, and as the picture did show you guys being quite intimate, his managers blocked you on Haechan's phone and warned him not too interact you or he'll face serious consequences."Mark stated, trying to catch his breath at end of the essay he just told her.
Her eyes widened and guilt ran down her. All this time she was so angry at him and everyone else because of Haechan, but he was going through something way worse.
It was because of her his image could've been damaged and she was never going to forgivd herself for that. Knowing that she nearly was the cause of his downfall really triggered her.
Mark took her out of her thoughts and began showing her the pictured of her and Haechan walking together the night she kissed him on the cheeks.
She looked closely and it looks like they were dating, which definitely did make her blush thinking at how cute they were.
She broke the silence, trying to collect her thoughts and phrase it into one sentence. "Tell Haechan I'm sorry and that he doesn't have to explain why he's been ignoring me."
"Oh and also tell him never to contact me again." She finally decided, knowing that it was the best idea she had and that she couldn't be selfish snd risk him.
"Woah what?" Mark got up from his chair, shocked at how someone who Haechan admired so much could say something like that.
"You wont get it okay." She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to blink back the tears that were in her eye.
Mark and Jeno tried to reason with her, convincing her that nothing would happen but she couldn't take the deal, she wasn't selfish.
"I think our conversation has ended, please leave." She directed them towards the door and was about to shut it behind them before Jeno held his foot out.
"Please just think about this." He pleaded, trying just one more time to persuade her to change her mind but with Yerin if her mind is made up, theres no stopping her.
"Sorry." She shut the door behind them leaning down the glass and crouching down on the floor. She wiped the tearns that were falling from her eye and got back up, dusting herself and getting back to work.
She made up her mind and there was nothing she or anyone else could do about it.
