CHAPTER SEVEN

I was walking while nakatulala. I fucking forgot to ask him about Ate Ara! I was distracted! 

"Ang bobo mo, Val" I said, slightly slapping my head. 

I got out of the parking lot and headed straight away to Blueprint Horizons.

The employees greeted me when I entered. I headed straight away to my office and before I sat down, I received a message... from Dom.

My heart pounded fast as I open my phone to read his message. Fuck I really need to move on! Para akong mamamatay kapag nagparamdam sya. 

Dominic Vergara: Hi, the house is almost done. Camilla Sterling requested that the architect should be there to check the final details. Let me know if you'll come tomorrow.

I paused as I read the message. He's really treating me as a business partner, not as his partner now. So cold. 

I shrugged off my sad girl thoughts and remembered what Atticus' said. It's time to let go. 

Valentina Villanueva: I'll come tomorrow. 

I stared at my reply sighed. This is it, the moving on stage. 

I put aside my phone and opened my computer. I started to review the blueprints the employees sent me. 

After an hour, pumasok ang assistant ko, si Sheri.  "Good noon po, Miss Val. Miss Camilla Sterling called and wanted you to come to the site tomorrow since the house is done, she wants your opinion about the final details po."

I blushed, Shet! makikita ko na si Miss Camilla in person! 

I smiled to Sheri, "Sure, tell Miss Camilla that I'll be there tomorrow." Sheri smiled and left my office. 

I continued working as usual, my overthinker side worked also.

What if she's intimidating?

What if she will dislike the house?

What if I mess up in front of her tomorrow? 

I shook my head a million times and smiled, "Chill, Val." I whispered to myself. 

I continued working and had a meeting with the employees. After my work, I dropped by The Enchanted Cup just to see Ate Ara and Atticus again! Bumalik ako sa car ko at kinuha ang cap ko and my sunglasses kahit walang araw. I'm ready to eavesdrop!

Pagpasok ko sa cafe, I immediately sat on to the table kung saan malapit sila. 

"Please, Atticus. Give me another chance, I promise I'll be a better girlfriend..." I gasped, WTF?! ATE ARA BEGGING?!

"Let's stop this, Arabella. Hindi naman naging tayo, I don't like you." My eyes opened widely and covered my mouth. What the fuck is this tea?! 

"Hindi kaparin naka move on sa babaeng yun?" Ate Ara said irritably, "You keep on advising people to let go or move on, but you? What the fuck, Atticus?! Move on and be with me please." Galit pero mahina na sabi ni Ate Ara. Wait lang, hindi ko gets.

"Stop this nonsense, Arabella. I'm going now." Akmang aalis na si Atticus when Ate Ara said something that made me and Atticus pause.

"Siya parin? Anak sa labas mahal mo, Atticus? Hindi ka ba nahihiya? You're a professional psychiatrist and you will settle to an anak sa labas, mentally unstable girl?" That made my heart race so fast. Anong ibig sabihin niya? 

"Yes, I'd rather settle to an anak sa labas and mentally unstable girl than be with a desperate woman like you." After saying that, Atticus immediately stormed out the cafe. Sumunod kaagad si Ate Ara, while here I am, processing what they were talking about. Gusto ko maki chismis! Arggh.
