Dear Laxus,
You hated the nickname, right? Do you remember how you got the name in the first place? We were in the gymnasium, our basketball team playing against our rival school when you did the L sign Makarov and Laxus made in the episode where Laxus was banned by his grandfather Makarov.
I think I was the only one who understood the sign because the others are looking at you with 'what the hell' look and a few simply ignored you.
So going back to what I'm supposed to say... People hated you. And at first I wondered why because when we met, you were nothing but smiles and laughs and you didn't insult anyone despite of my best bro (His name is Davie, I'm pretty sure you'd still remember him because you remember everyone) throwing animadversions at every single girl passing by. Hell, I could see you wanted to slap him but you held yourself back. That erased my first impression of you; bitchy.
I really couldn't understand what other people's matter with you is. And when I heard some talking about you and why they hate you, I thought of how those girls are actually worse than you. It's because I know the truth behind what they were saying.
You disliked Rix because she shouted at you at a debate and called you every insult I know of while you were reasoning out why people in the present couldn't live with electricity. Like seriously, she's being overly dramatic.
But after I while, it got to me too. I started to hate you. To hate you because you were doing so good at every class and because your family goes out at almost every weekend. Your life was perfect.
And I didn't know that you were living in hell.
I didn't know that you were actually acquiring scars from school and from home.
I bet it's a defense mechanism.
Your strong attitude. It's a defense mechanism.
It's why people hated you.
It's why you hated you.
