Dear Lexy,You dreamed of being a doctor. I don't know what field but I know that you want to be; and you were determined to be.
I saw the glint in your eyes and the sparks that erupted within, a month before you're gone (I count all those that happened before you're gone).
I saw you assisting the school nurse numerous times, she's proud of you I can tell that.
One time, when I was running late for Advanced Chem, I overheard you and the nurse talking about med school and anything in relevance.
I couldn't remember the exact words that formed the thought but all I know is that you want to become a doctor for the reason that you wanted to help people live.
Is it Allen? One of your church members that died? I could hear the determination in your voice to help other people like him. That you can charge your service in a reasonable amount and I peeked through a hole to see the nurse staring at you with admiration.
And I did too (I got detention for being 20 minutes late).
You're one of those admirable people in the world Lexy.
I hoped that at least you thought of that before you die; that you're a good person.
