The day had passed quietly, already at the station Lucy did the paperwork and went to the bathroom where he began to sob in silence.
Suddenly someone walks into the bathroom it's Angela. She hears someone crying in the toilet stall bit doesn't know it's Lucy.
"Who's that are you ok why are you crying" - Angela replies worried.
Lucy ignores Angela not wanting to speak to her.
"Please come out whoever you are I need to know what's wrong" - Angela says.
Lucy opens the door slowly walking out her eyes red from crying. Angela immediately runs over to Lucy giving her a huge hug.
"Lu what’s up" - Angela hugs her and Lucy cries harder
"I lost it Angela ... I lost it"
She was confused, she didn’t know what she meant but she just decided to hug her.
"Do you want to talk? I’m willing to listen to you beautiful" - Angela tells her but she denies
"I... - I was going to talk but her radio had sounded - let’s go then we’ll talk"
"Ok but you need to tell me after ok" - Angela replies.
Lucy nods her head then going on patrol. The call was about a bank robbery. Lucy drives to the bank getting out of her shop while grabbing her gun. Lucy walks inside and sees the suspect.
LAPD HANDS UP PURLT THE GUN ON THE FLOOR NOW! - Lucy shouts to the suspect.
The suspect listend to her bit Lucy doesn't know there is another suspect around the corner. The other suspect comes over shooting Lucy in the stomach. Both suspects run away leaving Lucy to bleed out.
"This is 7adam19 I've been shot I need an RA to my location immediately.
" copy that officer Chen the RA is 3 minutes out" - the person on the radio replies.
Lucy puts her radio down so she can hold pressure on her wound. After 3 minutes the ambulance arrives.
"Lucy where are you?" - Bailey shouts while walking into the bank.
"Over here behind the front desk I've been shot" Lucy says in pain.
Bailey runs to the desk kneeling down next to Lucy. She checks Lucy before taking her to the ambulance. Bailey than takes Lucy to the hospital. Once she arrives she is taken straight to surgery. Bailey calls Lucy's emergency contact.
"Where is she" - I ask Tim running - "Bailey where is Lucy"
"She.. she’s in surgery she was shot in the abdomen" - Bailey indicated forcing a smile and after a while they all get to the hospital waiting for news from Lucy.
"She has to be ok I can't loose her" Tim replies with tears in his eyes.
Bailey looks over at Tim.
"Tim do you have feelings for Lucy?" - Bailey asks.
"No she's a really good friend and I'm dating someone" Tim says.
Bailey is about to say something but the doctor walks into the waiting room.
" Family for Lucy Chen!" - the doctor shouts.
"Over here is she ok" - Tim asks desperately.
The doctor walks over to Tim.
"She's ok we was able to remove the bullet she should make a full recovery she's asleep in room 237" - the doctor replies.
"Thank god can I go see her?" - Tim asks.
The doctor nods to Tim signaling yes. Tim goes to Lucy's room sitting next to her waiting for her to wake up.
It had been a couple of hours when Lucy started to wake up
"Mmm" - Lucy moans for the doctor but is surprised to see Tim there
"Hey"
Tim notices and smiles when he sees her - "don’t move, do you want me to call the doctor?"
She denies
"What are you doing here and what happened to me" - I ask confused
"You was shot but they already took it out and you’re going to recover, I was quite worried about you Lucy I thought I was going to lose you
"Do you care so much that you care about me?"
"You are my newbie, my best friend" - when he said that Lucy felt that her heart broke more
"Thank you Tim"- she says fighting against her tears - "now you can go I’m out of danger"
Tim looks at her confused, she had never spoken to her and called her like that only at the beginning - "are you sure Lucy?"
"I’m sure now I want to be alone - she asked - thank you for being here you can go back to the station"
