Cloud

O cloud, soft as cotton, how you float,
I gaze at you with quite admiration.
Your formless beauty, a tale unspoke,
Leaving wonder in every creation.

O gentle cloud, when the earth in scorched,
And trees thirst beneath the sun's fierce drought,
You bring your rain, a blessing outpoured,
Quenching life with a soothing thought.

When the sun burns with its brightest gold,
You shelter us with tender grace.
O divine cloud, what sweet embrace!
Where else would you roam, if not the skies,
Your boundless home where freedom lies?
