8.0 - Fatal Weather

" Should I help too?" I asked this question to the boy who came running a moment ago.

I don't know who he is, but he seems to be their close friends. He had short red hair and a long brown coat with red elements. 

Under the coat he wore a white uniform, the same as the knights of higher ranks. I also noticed that he had star-shaped pins on his shoulder.

" We don't have time to think anymore, if you can fight, you can go."

Sydia grabbed her bow in her hand. After her gesture, I also made the decision to help in the fight.

We left the house. Before leaving, we put on a warm sheepskin coat. He said that the weather had changed drastically and it was now necessary. 

Before leaving the building, I didn't know what he meant, but now I managed to understand.

" What a downpour!" I shouted while running.

" That's why I told you to dress appropriately!"

Just a moment ago, Sydia and I were walking along this road and it was sunny. How come it's windy and rainy now?

We ran in the rain for the next few minutes until we reached a side street near the market.

There was a heavy snowstorm near the market. A moment ago we were running and it was raining, and now it's snowing. The closer we are to the scene, the worse the weather is.We stopped behind one of the buildings.

Sydia hugged her coat tightly and shivered with cold. She slowly crouched down in the snow to hug her warm coat with her whole body.

" W-what's going on with the weather, it was raining a moment ago." She stated, shivering with cold.

" This is the Beast's power."

The Beast's power?

" So beasts can use magic too? " I asked.

The boy peeked around the corner of the building and answered.

" Of course, but only the stronger ones can."

So how strong can the Beasts be if they can use such power, and humans can't?

The boy stopped peeking around the corner of the building and approached Sydia.He asked her something, and I used this moment to see what the situation with the Beast looked like. He himself said that we were here to help, and for now we're doing nothing but waiting. 

I didn't notice anything through the fog.

I turned back to them.
