Sadness

The garden of my soul, where love once bloomed
But now it lies barren, its petals consumed
Broken by betrayals, shattered by lies
In the shadows of sorrow, my spirit cries

Numb to joy, to laughter's embrace
Only pain and hurt find their place
Each beat of my heart, a solemn refrain
As sadness entwines, an eternal chain

My love is sadness, and sadness is my love
A cruel dance, ordained from above
In the depths of despair, I find my home
Where tears are the rivers, and sorrows roam

Broken but unbowed, I wear my scars
A prisoner of love's relentless bars
For in the ruins of my heart's domain
I'm trapped in sadness, forever to remain
