In a peaceful meadow, there was a young rabbit named Benny. Benny was known for his generosity—he was always sharing his food with others and offering his help. "If I give away what I have, I know I'll receive kindness in return," he thought.
One bright spring day, Benny was hopping through the meadow when he noticed that a small garden by the riverbank was overgrown and neglected. The flowers were wilting, and the plants looked sad. "What happened here?" Benny wondered.
He decided to help. Every day, he came to the garden, pulling weeds, watering the plants, and planting new flowers. But as he worked, no one else seemed to notice the little garden or offer any help. Benny didn't mind, though. He believed that sometimes, good deeds should be done without expecting anything in return.
One morning, after weeks of hard work, Benny noticed something beautiful: the garden had blossomed into a magnificent array of flowers, and the air was filled with their sweet fragrance. Soon, other animals from the meadow began to notice. The birds perched on the flowers, the bees buzzed around, and the squirrels even made little homes in the bushes.
"Thank you, Benny!" said the fox. "This garden is a gift to all of us."
Benny smiled. "I didn't do it for thanks. I did it because it felt right."
Moral: Generosity doesn't need praise—it brings beauty into the world, even when unseen.
