Alastor had always acted strange after his injury. At first, he seemed to just be down a leg, and nothing else, but then he started becoming paranoid. Even when Minerva was trying to be nice, it'd take him a few minutes, even hours to be calmed and assured that she wasn't a traitor or spy, sometimes even a stand-in. Then, he started getting angrier more often, lashing out like he hadn't before and scaring Minerva. Yelling, breaking things, then apologizing. After that, it escalated into pure madness, or so she described it as that. All of that was mixed together into someone different, and he stopped sleeping as well, or letting himself rest. There was a heavy air that hung between the couple, and then they chose to let it go when it started becoming hard on the twins.

"Mama? What's wrong?" Cece asked, holding a picture of the young Moody, watching her mother cry.
