jeeeeesus, thank you guys so much for keeping this book in the top 10s of some category for like a year straight. my writing has improved a lot since this book, however, i'm a bit of a sentimental gal, so i'll hold to my end note promise and won't be rewriting this or changing anything about it. feel free to check out my newer books if you're into any of them. i appreciate you all.

figured i'd also mention: this book, after learning a lot about disease processes throughout college, is absolutely medically inaccurate. pls don't give your family any medical fun facts at the dinner table from this book.

Like books about House? Of course you do. Can't find one without grammar that looks like it was written by a caffeinated toddler or medical terminology that contradicts itself every other sentence? Shocking, really. Lucky for you, this isn't my only one. Currently working on another. Go read Gene Pool, Meet Fool if you want to see House immortalized in literature again. You're welcome.

Now, to the common sense stuff.

The medical conditions, procedures, and tests described in this book are works of fiction and should not be considered entirely accurate or used as medical advice. While I conducted extensive research (not kidding) to ensure the information aligns with general medical knowledge, some details have been simplified, altered, or exaggerated for dramatic purposes. This book is not intended to diagnose, treat, or offer guidance on any medical conditions. If you believe you are experiencing a medical issue, please seek advice from a qualified medical professional.

This book contains themes of opioid usage and addiction as part of the storyline. The opioid epidemic is a significant public health crisis, and medical professionals work tirelessly to combat its devastating impact. If you or someone you know is struggling with opioid addiction, please contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) for confidential support and resources.
