House and Evelyn's chemistry has been my absolute favorite dynamic to explore out of all the books I've written. House is an extraordinarily complex character, and writing him was both a challenge and a joy. Capturing his essence—especially his approach to relationships—felt daunting, and I know I'll never fully encompass the depth of who he is. But I poured everything I had into it, and I hope that effort resonates with readers.

This book wasn't just a story; it was a journey for me as a writer. If you've been paying close attention, you can probably see my writing skills shift and evolve throughout the chapters. That growth means the world to me. I've spent a lot of time practicing, studying, and refining how I tell a story, and this book reflects that ongoing learning process. In all honesty, I don't even have a desire to go back and adjust it to my current skills. It's a piece of me, who I was, and what stage I was at.

Evelyn's character holds a deeply personal connection for me because, in many ways, she reflects parts of myself. Her complex past, coupled with the constant tug-of-war of impostor syndrome, is something I understand intimately. There are days when you feel like you're on top of the world, a genius with everything in your grasp—and then, just as quickly, you're questioning everything, feeling like a failure. I poured that inner conflict into Evelyn's character, hoping to convey her complexity and humanity in a way that she truly deserves. Writing her was cathartic, and I hope readers can connect with her journey as much as I have.

Researching medical disorders, terminology, and weaving it all into a compelling storyline was another layer of this rewarding challenge. It was exhausting at times but deeply fulfilling to see it all come together.

I know this book is incredibly niche, and I'm under no illusion that it will reach a massive audience. That's okay. If this story made just one person crack a smile, feel something genuine, or look forward to the next chapter, then it's all been worth it.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me. House and Evelyn's story holds a special place in my heart, and I'm excited to keep writing, keep learning, and keep sharing new stories with you.

More books to come.
