Chapter 23 🖤

CHOSO'S POV (1 year later)

So this is what Kenjaku has planned? A Shibuya incident?

I walk around, not wanting to be noticed by any Jujutsu sorcerer. I have to find Kenjaku. And (Y/N)...

One whole year and I still haven't found her. I should be ashamed. She's probably dead by now. The thought of the possibility makes me want to kill Kenjaku even more. Where could he be?

My eyes land on a subway sign and I walk towards the entrance, feeling the presence of many curses. Bingo.

I walk down the stairs, no, I'm running down the stairs, jumping over obstacles and running down the escalator. I don't want to lose any more time than I already did.

If (Y/N) is dead, then it's too late but if not... Then I can still save her. I need to save her. I love her..

I grit my teeth and run faster. Suddenly I feel a presence behind me and I stop, turning around. I wait and when finally someone- a red-pinkish haired boy- appears, I freeze.

We make eye contact and all of a sudden pictures of my brothers appear in my head. Is he the one that killed Eso and Kechizu? Yuji Itadori! My brother's killer!

I clench my fists and let cursed energy run through my body.

,,Blood Manpulation: Piercing blood."

I clap my hands and apply pressure to the blood that is coming out of my hands and then release it with a single point, the blood piercing through his arm but Yuji quickly pulls his arm up, the blood flowing upwards.

I do the same procedure again, but this time Yuji's reaction is faster and he dodges the blood, running towards me. Then he slams his fist in my arm, making me fly sidewards and I raise my eyebrows.

A double impact? What an odd technique..

,,I have a question...", I say, looking at Yuji's face, ,,Did my brothers leave any last words behind?"

Yuji frowns:,,Brothers?"

,,The ones you two killed", I say and grit my teeth, waiting for him to answer. ,,Oh.. Not really.. But...They were crying..", Yuji sighs.

Crying?! Eso... Kechizu...

I let a lot of blood flow out of my back and form a ball with it. Yuji runs towards me and kicks me, stopping me from forming it. I groan and form blood points, Yuji dodging every one of them.

Yuji and I continue to fight, to land hits on each other and to fight with cursed energy until Yuji suddenly runs towards the toilets. I raise my eyebrows and walk towards the bathroom, the sound of breaking glass making me wonder what he is doing.

He's definitely planning something, this boy isn't weak.. Don't let your guard down!

I clench my fist, blood coming out of my hands.

When I enter the bathroom, I see water spraying around, all the water taps being pulled out. I frown and look around when I hear a voice.

,,You care so much for your brothers, don't you? It makes you so easy to manipulate."

I see a brown thing on the wall and pierce it with my blood but my eyes widen when Yuji appears behind me and punches me, making me stumble forwards and I quickly turn around to face him.

Then I groan, straightening my back and I form blood balls around me. This was your last chance, Yuji! I'll kill you!

Suddenly the blood balls explode and I realise why. The water. I try to form anything with my blood but it dissolves every time I try. Shit.. I lost..

Even though I can't use my cursed technique, I continue to fight against Yuji, at first struggling but after a while I figure out how to use my technique even though the water is a nuisance.

Now, I'm standing in front of Yuji's unconscious body, his upper body leaning against the wall and his head hanging down. He's still breathing..

I approach him and clench my fist, wanting to slam it into his face and kill him. The moment my fist flies down, I feel a weird sensation and see somebody in a throne, looking down at me.

,,How worthless. Losing to such riffraff."

Sukuna looks at me with a grin before I snap back into reality and stand up, slowly walking out of the toilets and I groan when memories flood into my head. Pictures of my brothers, Yuji and me.

I put my hands on my head and swallow, not believing what is happening. I wanted to kill my brother? Yuji is my brother? Yuji Itadori?!?! A sob escapes my lips but I don't cry, walking away. I shake my head and close my eyes as I unknowingly walk towards the place where I will find what I have been searching for so long. What I have been longing for. What I have missed. ...

Oh god, I have the feeling that this chapter is so bad because I rushed the story, I'm sorryyyy TwT..
